The Americans are getting clobbered; hope this isn't the harbinger of things to come next week.

So you think Walker will send Sheils on a global head hunting trek for some new talent?🤣

I watched a local tournament a few years ago and chatted with the asst coach (and past Big Break contestant) from the U. of Wash and I was shocked how much time was spent globally scouting for talent.

@KBong Are you referring to Sophie Walker, i.e. the new host on the Rick Shiels podcast?

What the HECK....Rachel...Rachel....Rachel...you're playing like a POSER....The Chinese Wonder Kid must be so EXHAUSTED carrying you on her back...just sayin.

Gina Kim is POSING too...not 1 point yet.

I think the pairings were already handed in...I would have benched Castle in the 4ball session for burning her lag putt 7 feet pass the hole on 18 in 4somes to cause them to miss out on a full point vs. a 1/2 point.

Reminds me of the Walker Cup earlier in the year. On paper, US was supposed to romp and it came down to the final holes...now here on foreign ground the US is in a real battle

US buckled down and pretty much everyone played well down the stretch (other than Gina). Big props to Castle coming back from 3dn with 4 to go to halve her match.

Rose also didn't play great, but they didn't need her point

Definitely fun to watch. I think it was closer than the score would indicate.

Sure were a lot of wayward drives. Not much wind, so I chalk it up to nerves.

Good thing Rose was on Team USA..She carried them.

I dunno. She obviously had the best week of all of them, but a handful of other players did their part. Allisen went undefeated at 3-0-0. Jensen and Rachel managed 2 1/2 points each.

Finally had the pleasure of watching the singles matches last night.  High quality production with a minimum of forced talking head blabber, really my only complaint with the broadcast was that they had a total of four cameras so you didn't get to see anything from the other four matches.

Thankfully Rachel Heck was in one of those first four groups.

Other random observations:

Of all of the participants I think Hannah Darling has the highest ceiling if she pursues the professional game.  She has so much talent and just has "it".  Sorry Rose fans.

Wasn't a fan of Jensen Castle's game but she sure has great touch around the greens.  Short game saved her bacon long enough for Darling to finally crack.

Didn't know anything about Caley McGinty but if she's playing at Okie State her profile will rise a bunch this year.

Love the way Brooke Matthews was playing, no overthinking, no standing over the ball, just stepped right up and hit it.

Every time I see Louise Duncan I hear an announcer yelling "WAIT WAIT IS THAT STACY LEWIS?  IT CAN'T BE!"

Being a Razorback I'm a HUGE fan of Brooke Matthews.  Her swing coach locally has produced a TON of solid collegiate and amateur talent, including Brooke, so it's really no surprise to see her doing so well.  I think you're going to see her name on some LPGA leaderboards down the road.
