If they got hacked, I would have expected more than just that one situation to be off.  All the other custom sets were priced accordingly minus the 8 piece.  It’s likely an employee or system error that displayed the price for 1 iron instead of 8 or missed the “2” altogether.  
 

They shut it off this morning with a note they were out of stock when you would try to add to cart and now the price accurately reflects $1249.99.  
 

I got in late last night 4-G with PX so here’s to hoping!  They charged my PayPal and gave me an order confirmation email.  I would understand if they refunded due to error and be amazingly impressed if they fulfilled it.  
 

Both my daughters and I play their tennis rackets (Clash 100 Pro) and love them, so why not some golf clubs from a legendary brand?!

Obviously I would never call but it’s irrelevant at this point. They are aware of the issue as they have pulled the page and corrected it. At this point it’s really just up to their good will and whether they want to honor the orders or not. I’m not holding my breath but who knows stranger things have happened. Probably drove more traffic to their golf site then they have seen in a while 😂😂😂

Once I saw this getting posted on Twitter and Facebook groups that have 100k+ members I lost any faith that this would go through. And that’s fine. I would venture to guess that they likely don’t have the inventory to even fulfill all of the orders. And I can’t blame them for not wanting to take a bath on these.

I’m guessing it costs them more than $20 per club to manufacture. Especially with the price of steel. Not like the shafts and grips are free either.

With all the sale rolling in all of a sudden. They were probably wondering which of their sponsored players just won a tournament.

IMO Wilson should use this as marketing and make those who wish to get the special pricing be obligated to post an honest review within say 30 days.

I’m guessing at best maybe they will send out an apology with a 20% off coupon which 99% of us won’t ever use. Oh well, we all knew there was a .01% chance of actually happening but still a bummer nonetheless

I also received a receipt as did two of my friends.  Wilson also just now charged my PayPal well after the posting.  One of my friends ordered two sets, one for him and one for his son, the receipt is for only 1 set.  
 

It’s feasible Wilson may honor 1 set per buyer at this price, which is insanely awesome of them…

 

If this works out I’m debating ordering a 21 Utility to go with it!
