Lol.  Man.  You can’t roll in and throw hate.  Literally. Then say don’t call me a hater ?  That’s exactly what youre after right ? Somebody to respond.  Well. Ok. 
 

i find tiger haters to be of two groups. Over 60 and under 35.  The young guys cannot stand that he still is more popular than the kids coming up.  It’s fascinating to read how twisted up they get.  
 

now me personally.  I didn’t see tiger win 1 tournament live.  Not one.  I wasn’t watching golf until after 2014.  So when I got to see the  ones since 2018 , I got us a small taste of the excellence.  And I can only imagine how good the tiger 1.0 was.  I’m a fan of excellence.  So until some of these younglings level up and achieve that , tiger is still it.  It’s that simple. Throwing out Facebook catch phrases , kind of proves my point.

Why do you think every Sunday there are 10s of millions of football fans across the country, going berserk in stadiums and bars. Cooking up meals and wearing their favorite pros name on their back?

 

Tiger is the same thing. But in golf. And that’s why true golf fans don’t get all miffed about the fun fanaticism. What TW has done for golf, it’s like Arnie  but even more amazing. And it’s 90% straight up kicking @a** in his sport. Pure greatness in performance. 
 

That’s why the King was such a big TW fan ; )

Well said. When were teens and 20s were trying to look and act like men. Whne we hit 40 suddenly we want to be kids again.  And any chance we get to feel that.  Well. We jump on it.  It’s not a crime. It’s not weird.  I’m 42 , still being called a young pup by many …. But feeling old.  But I can tell you. Every last thing that anyone told me would happen has come true regarding aging.   And I’ve drilled this into my 13 year olds head. Be a damn kid while you can.  When you’re my age you’ll get ridiculed  for being excited about anything.  We’re supposed to shut up and keep our heads down and work.  Man. I’m just going to stop.  I’m getting worked up.  😂.

Ya, now I’m an extreme as far as acting like one lol, but nothing better than feeling like kid. 
 

oh and as far as feeling old…this is the year you gonna get the sneaks laced up and rocking round the track running 880s yo! Fuhgedaboudit; )

I’m older than you and still a kid, especially when it comes to my sweetie! Sling a bag over my shoulder, hit the course by myself, listen to the bag chatter and I’m 16!

My 82 year old mom who is a track junkie still occasionally says 220 or 440.  We didn’t talk about races that were more than one lap in our house!

I played da fooball. I can catch a deer…up to 40 yards.

 

After 40 yards I just trot back sidelines and drink some Gatorade; )

Lol.  Yep.  That’s true.  But now I have a 13 year old kid who’s broken into the 450s in the mile.  So I have to talk to the distance people.  Lol.  It’s a different animal for sure.

That deadline is only for PGA Tour events. The Masters isn't a PGA Tour event and doesn't have an entry deadline. Tiger could wait until next Thursday morning to decide if he wanted to.
