Wore my nxt% for first time the other day and they starting making the goofy noise on one of the shoes within 3 holes. Shoes still felt stable and bubble intact but the noise was definitely annoying. For what its worth it was a wet morning so dont know if that had something to do with it.

Yea it does.   When it’s wet outside it’s more noticeable. Pushes the water out with more bubble sound.  When it’s dry it’s not nearly as noticeable unless you walk down hill or lead with the toe when walking. When heel-walking it’s not as noticeable either.

I don't have a picture but my cotton candy ones were definitely popped. I wore em at least 30 rounds, probably 10 walking. Completely deflated like a punctured basketball.

upon return they asked me why.  I told them. Nike store said they don’t feel popped.  I assured them that while I agree the annoying sound of air comes rushing out of the bubble when walking.  He took some scissors to the bubble and sure enough they were not popped.  Same with second shoe.   
 

I assume that is the issue we are all having with the Next %?  They sound popped but really aren’t? Design flaw I assume.   
 

so damn comfy tho so I ordered another pair.  Lol.   Won’t be returning these for the sound unless I know they are popped. 

 

I think it's the stiff plastic upper that pops back into place after it creases as you step. My white black ones make a popping doof sound every step I take and it really annoys me. They even have a really weird shaped crease where the noise comes from. My Open version do not crease the same way or make the noise.

I know I speak for everyone when I say just being back the Roshe in over 50+ colorways. Make that the staple Nike shoe for years and years.

The only reason I can think on why this doesn't happen - Nike hates making money on golf and doesn't care.

You do not speak for me. Roshes are one of the least stylish, least creative Nike ever released. The Toyota Camry of golf shoes.

Sketchers has won a lot of awards too. Doesn’t make me want to wear them. Roshes look like all of the champion, pony, polo cheap sneakers at Ross/burlington lately, IMO obviously. Everyone can like what they  want, I didn’t really care for them too much. 
 

I’m continuing to try to find recent shoes that I like as much as the TW13/15 or zoom IT90. The lasts that they built them on were so good that most uppers they put on them didn’t matter and were great shoes.

Absolutely, just like many want the Roshe to stick around, I wish the 90IT would have stuck around instead of transitioning to the AM90. 
 

Only sharing the contrasting opinion. I also don’t get love for the Next% (the sole plate is so weird looking to me).

I think it would shock a lot of people here that the Roche used to be a "hype" shoe.  It was super popular and fashionable about a decade ago.

i for one never really like the roshes. Golf or non golf. It was pure “hype” for sure. I tried and they were not comfortable to me.

Nike could simply take their hits (tw13/15, 90IT, tour premiere, roshes, etc) and release them every few years with updates to their cushioning/uppers/colorways and we’d all have something we’d like.
