2022 Drive On event

Slight update to my course scouting report.  I quizzed my daughter about some of the big numbers out there and she said the course is quite scorable if you hit the fairway.  The fairways are reasonably generous but then that is it. If you get crooked off the tee it is in the water or the thick foliage so no hacking out. Plus she said it was calm in the morning but got quite windy as the day progressed.

 

She is volunteering tomorrow on cart duty so hopefully she gets a front nine assignment then can go watch a fair bit once the last group is through.

Canadian viewers can continue to watch LPGA.com stream of this tournament at 3-6pm, accdg to Chantel McCabe... so no need for $5 to peacock LOL...

my computer was in the feed, and i was doing something else... maybe they didnt talk about her-- heck i saw crusty on the hole at one point and decided to tune out..

 

then tuned back in when it was su oh around lunchtime as i was eating or finishing up then tuned out again...

 

I’m sure it was yesterday bec i was telling my wife it's su oh, su without an "e" and prolly one of the shortest name if her last name was even shortened to just O, instead of Oh LOL...

The lpga.com stream is unwatchable...so I go to Youtube to see if there is any worth watching.

He might not be the best team player 🤣 but he is a good public speaker.

He rarely needs to look down at his notes and seldom stumbles with "um's" or "awe's" .

Yes, Whan can be a bit cheesy with his choice of words at times...."buddy"....."check writer" etc

Or, as Stacy said, if conditions make players think she has a chance, compared to bombs away conditions.  Pretty similar to short hitters stating that they have a better chance to win on shorter courses - evens the playing field.  
 

She may not be buddy buddy with lots of players, but I’ll take Jerry Folz’s opinion over yours that she is quite respected by most players.

 

(And you forgot to add the agressive little boy who didn’t get the golf ball that she gave to the shy little girl). 🤗

1) I enjoy sitting back and getting roasted here whenever I talk about SNaP.....it's FUN...I enjoy getting insulted🤣.....there are 339 posts and counting and everyone in another WRX thread is slamming Phil  and his "OBNOXIOUS GREED" comment without much recourse.🤣

Stacy had some of Razorback hog head hats to hand out to the fans.

There was a little Asian boy who didn't cross the line/ropes with his hands waving to see if Stacy would give him a Razorback hat....instead of handing the little Asian boy a Razorback hat....Stacy reached into the crowd over the little Asian boy's head and handed it to a Caucasian girl.

The look on the little Asian boy's face was PRICELESS...."like what the heck just happened"

 

I guess Stacy thought the little Asian boy was Shanshan's nephew.🤣

Well, not really such a good memory - it’s just that you’ve retold those stories so many times.  (I’ll grant you that Stacy shouldn’t have made her comment, but it wasn’t a good shot.  I remember ShanShan turning away in disgust after she hit it).
