Lol. I took the Grand Canyon Railroad to the south rim in January. It was something like 20 degrees. I imagine that in the in the summer with the 100 degree temps is not much better. I love nature, and the canyon is spectacular, but freezing/roasting on the edge of the canyon for 20 minutes seems about right. 🙃

The first time we went to the Grand Canyon there was fog so thick you could only see about 10-20 feet.  We were warned at the entrance that you could see NOTHING, but after driving from Flagstaff (and only fog the last couple miles) we decided to go ahead in.  A couple times it opened up just enough to get a little idea of the grandeur.  Luckily our next trip had good weather and we were able to hike a mile down and 3 miles back up. 🤣
