SYR has gone winless for 3 years, will take extended periods off and is not a self-promoter of herself....Out of Sight Out of Mind.

BUT 

Several years ago when SYR and NYC were playing well....they'd also be shunned by the LPGA tee-off committee....I remember sometimes both would be near dew sweeping.

 

IMO....many of the Koreans have poor agents.

If I was NYC or SYR's agents in those times....I'd be having some phone calls with the LPGA tee-off committee and Whan .....that they deserved better tee-off times into those featured groups.

The Koreans networks pay good money for the coverage feed.

 

I think she might have been agentless at the time....but In Gee went w/o a logo on her visor for over a year....a player of In Gee's popularity should not go logoless on her visor.

SYR won a significant tournament in Korea in 2020, when she was trapped there by Covid. She came back onto the LPGA in late 2020 with form; but couldn't convert it into a win.

Korean Women's Open to add to her global open collection. 

 

Thing is, they'll put So Yeon in a feature group with Lexi and then not show a single one of her golf shots. I think she gets better coverage when the Australian/Asian team produces the broadcast.

Today's tee time was moved one hour ahead of schedule, the TV broadcast time has been moved accordingly.  Live streaming will start at 8:30 PM EST instead of 9:30 PM.

The announcing crew mentioned that that Jin Young won 5 of her last 9 tournaments. In the four that she didn't win she finished outside the top 6 in only one. 

 

Should they give her the trophy and winner's check now? Lol.

She shot in the 60's in 27 out of her last 28 rounds.  She failed last time to break the record of 14 consecutive rounds in the 60's.

 

Today is she's shooting for her second 14 consecutive rounds; tomorrow she'll try to set a new record again.

LMAO....as if that's gonna happen anytime soon with the American Poster Child and the LPGA tee-off committee....HOW SOON WE FORGET ABOUT CHEATIN LEXI....we need not see Lexi crying again.

NOPE....not since  the 2012 CWO.....I bought a bag of White Rabbit candy to give a fellow GREAT PERSON FROM CHINA.

It was lunch bag LETDOWN.....she wasn't all that cheery like she is on TV....kinda phony like Creamer and Wie.

 

So I kept the candy and handed out some White Rabbit candy to the white folks sitting beside me in the grandstand at the driving range....they enjoyed them.

 

Hopefully Muni doesn't POSE this year and maintains her 2023 LPGA card.....I'll give her a bag of White Rabbit and chat about her days as  LITTLE POSER member here at Swaneset.

I also think the FUTURE GREAT LADY OF CHINA...The Zhangster..... will turn pro by 2023...she'll also get a bag of White Rabbit too...so I'll see them both at the CWO.

 

I buy some snacks for DUMBO and The Rocket too.

 

I'll be checking the garbage cans at Shaughnessy that week to make sure the snacks and White Rabbit candies aren't TOSSED.😛

R3 at 10.30pm Saturday on 505 and again midday Sunday on 503

R4 at 10.30pm Sunday on 505 and again Monday 2.30am on 503

 

I'm expecting these times are AEDST time, maybe different for Adelaide.

 

Hope this is a one-off due to some Asian contractual stuff, I'm not happy.
