Junichiro Kozuma - WITB - 2022 US Open

Recommended Posts

Wow, what an interesting bag! Don't read Japanese, so clueless on the sole stampings. Distances?

Also, I'm still playing RTX 2.0s myself. Great iteration of that wedge line - although mine were cast in China, Thailand or Vietnam, most likely. Not forged in the depths of Mt. Fuji, as Kozuma-san's most certainly were.

Also...Driver?

I could see Charlie Hoffman gaming that putter, if he ever signed with Callaway.

The stampings are his first name, Jin'ichiro (the thread title misspells it as "Junichiro", which is a more common name to be honest).

Now that TM Gloire in there is interesting. The Gloire range is aimed at older golfers and ladies, so how his ended up in the bag is anyone's guess. I see some secondhand ones for sale, and they always have a soft, lightweight shaft. I'd do a double take if I saw one with a Speeder 757.

Thanks mon frer. @No_Catchy_Nickname beat you to it.

My knowledge of Asian language and translation options open to the technically savvy has been shown to be woefully deficient.

You'll have to forgive me.

I'm merely an enthusiastic middle-aged man with a 3rd grade education and an abiding interest in the game of golf. 😀

Absolutely agree!

- Something that continues to go long off the tee in the fairway
- Something that is a fairway finder when needed and long
- Something that high, consistent and helps with par 5’s
-  Something to help with long par3’s and short par 4’s

-  Something metal, lots of them and go the gaps I need
- Something metal, 2x of them and helps me 120y and in
- Putters - limited rotation because I cannot afford misses

Golf is what you make of it.  Play grateful and accepting. We are all lucky to have it.

Rather than expecting lets all try and appreciate instead.
Treat people the way you want to be treated
