Driver Head weights reference thread

There are so many fantastic information sources here, but I can't find anything that pulls together raw head-weights for drivers. So for instance common reference to Ping heads being heavier, but are they and the adapter is lighter.

 

So it would be great if anyone could add info to this thread, I'll start with my current two:

 

Ping G410 plus. Head 190g with 13g weight removed. Adapter 4g so 207g total effective head-weight

 

Callaway Epic Flash SZ. Head 182g without both weights. Back slider adds 12g with 9g weight and 2g weight in front so typically 196g. Adapter is 8g = 204g total effective head-weight

Mizuno ST-Z 220 = 197.3g

 

Mizuno ST-G 200 = 198.3g

 

Mizuno adapter is 6.9g

G430 Max 10.5 with HZRDUS Smoke Red RDX 60 6.5 flex. Ordered standard specs. For those wondering, the HZRDUS shaft is real (Hexcel-Hextow) and not “made-for”. 
 

@Pleasedwith3putts here are some specs:

Headweight without rear tungsten = 178g

Rear tungsten = 25g

Total weight with tungsten = 203g

My TSr4 driver head weight is 181g without any weights or adapter installed and before hotmelt. I have a 5g and 11g weight installed in in now ( green and blue). I’m not sure that will help much because I’d imagine the 3 and 2 heads are a little heavier.

Head only target weights are below for drivers. This is what fitting heads would be. 

TSR2 is 186 grams with no weights no adapter just head and hot melt and the screw

TSR3 is 187 grams with track cover hotmelt and screw 

TSR4 is 181 for just head hot melt and screw no weights. 
 Then weights are selected based on build length shaft weight and grip selection. 

 

Thanks also to member Smalldivot for image below. TSR2 199g including stock weight thought to be 9g.

Just came across this thread when I searched "head weights". My LTDX LS feels light, so I weighed it. It's 192g with the weights (1- 10g, 1- 3g) and adapter screw. After reading these replies, that seems crazy light. I'd love to make it heavier. Not sure how since the only interchangeable weights are both in front. Would I send it back to Cobra? I don't know anyone around here who does hotmelt. Tons of lead tape?

cobra offers the head weights on their website.  you can always try a lighter grip as well.

Definitely worth a try, but I worry that adding all the weight to the front will change the spin and launch to a point where it wouldn't be playable for me.

Anyone know the head weight of the Stealth 2+ with standard weights in? TSR3 head weight with standard weights in?

My TSR3 was 194 with the standard 8 weight. Does that mean I am over by 1g or 9?

Actually I am 1g under then. I ordered a +4g back weight as I cut it down to 45’. This should put me at 198g. It is not a perfect solution because that weight can be used to manipulate draw and fade tendencies from heel to toe and I don’t want it more pronounced than intended. 
 

I am curious about hot melting but I don’t feel knowledgeable enough to implement. 
 

My last driver was a rogue subzero TC and it weighed 194 at 45.5’ play length.

you are right, but not everybody is having a raw adapter at home to scale the head inclusive the adapter.

 

Callaway is on the heavier site with their adapters: mine is 14gramm with the screw and the washers and the rubber ring. 9gramm the adapter only (if the screw stays with the washers in the head...

sure, but the question was absolute correct and not everybody did mention if the weight came with the adapter screw or without. in the Callaway case it makes 5gramm difference.

Yes, that's the problem @st1800e was trying to address.

More like 8 gm based on the Callaway adapters I've weighed (no screw).

 

Unlike the adapter, the screw is not supposed to be removed from the head - so that shouldn't really even be an issue.

If anyone's looking for a HEAVY head, perhaps to counter a high BP or too-stiff shaft, consider the vintage Taylormade R7 Quad TP, at 213g (with 4 weights, of course).

BTW, anyone know if it's possible to find anything other than 1g and 12g weights for that head??

TM had a weight kit with various values and at one point, and someone was making aftermarket versions.   I used several different values in my R9 supertri.
