I just saw in May that he signed another multi-year contract

That’s what I was trying to see…..couldn’t get a clear enlargement.  It’s certainly remotely possible…..or Vokey made him some wedges and TM will attempt to duplicate.

I assume that he was not happy that Scottie Scheffler got a deal with Taylormade allowing him to use Vokey wedges, a Scotty putter and even a Titleist ball ( I believe), when he had a full bag deal. He might have requested a bit of freedom, too. Probably accepting a small financial cut.

I want to see Rory the free agent! and while we're at it, Tommy Fleetwood too. That guy always had the coolest bag and it seems like his play has dropped off since switching to a sponsored bag.

Every tour player has 1 vokey in the bag. I never understood this. Must mean something. I personally cant hit a vokey as comfortable as some other brands not sure why.

Maybe of note, last time he had a non-TM club in the bag he was using a cameron newport at the olympics in 2021(?).

Actually, Tommy Fleetwood just won for the first time in a while since he became a full Taylormade guy.  Did not win for years as a free agent.  Not that it's the clubs, but just saying.

I stand corrected. It just seemed for a couple of years there he was hunting don people on major championship leaderboards and he's been relatively quiet since the switch to TM. I just really enjoyed tracking his bag. Fully sponsored bags with 14 club deals are so boring to me haha.

Fleetwood won the same tournament as a FA and was very good in majors.
 

His play has certainly dropped off the last year or two
