Reached out to Golf Pride, they have no intention of bringing these grips to the market at large, they will remain a tour only offering.  Which completely sucks.

Yeah its crazy because they obviously have the tooling and materials to make them, they just won't do it for the masses. Seems like while they were making a batch of them they could crank out more and do a limited run for regular folks. But I'm also not in manufacturing so who knows.

Has to be a cost issue. Like Nike losing that 1% of the market caused them to shut down. Maybe those grips cost too much to make and instead do not meet the margins needed for mass production. 
Or they don’t even make them and simply have a NOS pile.

They likely have determined that they wouldn't sell enough of them to justify it.  Too old school looking for most, despite lots of the hard core guys liking them

As well as black Baby T putter grips

 

Don't understand Golf Pride anymore...used to buy 580 round Green Victory Cords in case quantify for less than $2.50/grip back in the 1980s

More like what they would have to sell them for would not be profitable cuz they wouldn’t sell enough of them. 
 

They are way more expensive to make cuz of the process to get the cord in them is what I’ve been told

Golf Pride had/has the V55 Cords on their site. Per usual they are out of stock.

Well given inflation, $2.50 in the 80s is now worth about $9.08 today which isn't far off from current prices.

I wondered why there were so many comments on a Will McGirt WITB thread, as soon as I clapped eyes on the victory cords I knew what the comments would be about. I would say 95% of the golfing public wouldnt even be aware of victory cords and they wouldnt get a look in if sold to the masses. They are before my time though so not sure what the fuss is about? Do they feel better? If so why aren't more top pros playing them who love the cord, such as Tiger, JT etc?

I've still got about 20 fresh in a box... have them on all my gamers...  Wish they would do these in limited release once every couple of years.  There are still several guys on tour that play them and there is demand amongst us mere mortals entering our mid life crisis that grew up playing them that would buy 20-30 whenever they do come out!
