I dont understand that at all but maybe she thinks it will be decided by then so Lexi's match is insignificant, personally i think the match will be decided in Nelly's match...You will never convince me that NBC didnt have their hand in those pairings, because Stacy would have put the faster players like Nelly, Danielle K out first and front loaded her lineup

I think it's the middle order that will decide this. Hedwall and dryburgh are very under raced and could go against them...guess it's set up for ciganda to hole the winning putt! 🤔😛

Hull vs Kang, Leona vs Rose - I'll be curious to see those 2... the others not so much, Ciganda vs Korda was smart -- slow play to death and 2nd to last flight -- so won't be on the clock too much... EKP vs Lexi?  Prolly won't matter and if it did, EKP for me all the way... Note: I actually like the American gals more vs the Euros (Even if the Euros are strong on paper)

BTW, if a player is 2-1-0, do you say they've won the team 2 points or netted the team 1 point?  Seems like both are true, although when you look at all of the players' contributions things will be slightly different.  5-0-0 and 0-5-0 can't be changed🤣.

They had such a big lead starting out the tournament.. Millions of fans got hope of winning the solheim cup,  including me..

Even as an American, think I may be happiest for EKP.  Always pegged her as a tremendous talent and for the life of me could never figure out why she doesn’t fare better on tour. 

 

Realize there are few guarantees in golf, but really hope this Solheim experience turns EKP’s career around for the better going forward.

I'll give Lexi credit; after the shot on Friday she went out and won her match with Khang on Saturday morning.

 

She's had so many close calls all go against her, maybe being in a tight situation and coming through is what she needs to turn it around.  Stacy obviously believes.  Could be either what she's seen (press comments) or she knows at some point you've got to face up to it and battle through it (SL also had a tough stretch before a few late career wins).  At this point, you either turn it around or are a shadow of your former self, so what's there to lose?

 

I'm not a Lexi fan, but it would be nice to see her bounce back.

But apparently Lexi is allowed to shred a Major tournament / one that stepped up for the women's game before many others did (quite frankly, same with Lewis)?  Give me the money but don't make me uncomfortable or critique me too hard.  Sorry, that's not what being a star player is.

 

I actually think Lexi's second reply to the question wasn't all that bad.  Paraphrasing but essentially "I didn't hit a good shot" (and no more discussion needed.  This could have been said without snapping at the reporter).  Hey, at least Bill Belichick would approve🤣.

She is still the only high ranked tour player that I've ever seen who continues to have a weight shift into the back foot on a chip/pitch.
