Finest set of Staff's that I've Played since the 78-80 Tour Blades below. I absolutely loved the heel/Toe length on these(the 59's).

 

I love the smaller "baby blade" profile

There are way too many sets, old and new, to pinpoint one. So many clubs with their own unique design and somehow still pleasing to the eye. Lately, I've noticed how pretty the new PINGS are. No way I would be able to play golf if my judgments were based on looks alone. Would never be able to decide.

I am drooling on Mizuno MP-100 irons not to use them to lower my scores but to enjoy them from time to time while amused by their look. Simply beautiful irons (to me).

They were a tip o' the hat to, in my eyes, THE most iconic Blade in their storied history, the Button Backs~

 

I still Played these in an annual vintage tourney and they still felt as sweet as they did 40 years before :)

When I was a kid, caddying at the most exclusive clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area, all the rich guys gamed Haig Ultras in big leather Staff bags. It was probably because they were just a Wilson Staff with some different graphics and a little different muscle pattern on the back that cost about 25% extra, but those were some elegant looking clubs. The guys who played them inevitably drove a Sedan de Ville Cadillac. I still get a little weak in the knees when I see a nice set. I played Apex blades by Hogan, PGA blades, GolfCraft blades, etc....all really hard to hit but it sure trained you to hit it in the middle of the club face. When Ping came out with their first GI clubs, no wonder the whole world wanted them. Everybody was sick of how hard it was to play with those beautiful blades.

Absolutely, it's just those particular irons I chose were patterned after the Personals~

 

I bet ya if we could get the pics, Hogan patterned his after a Mac blade as that's what he Played Prior to his company-
