Titleist 2023 irons

I’m actually considering getting another set of the 2021 T100s at some point, to have on stand by when i wear my current set wears out. Titleist has really been on a heater with their equipment in last 2-3 years.

I'm curious as hell to what Titleist has up their sleeves in replacing these irons!  I had one of the best ball striking days with the irons on Sunday.  The T100s just feel so good, while slicing thru the turf with ease.  It's very difficult for me to hit one fat anymore.  Set up so good behind the ball.  It's one of their best irons, IMO, that they have ever produced.

And I feel as if they know this? Which makes me doubtful that their next product will change the “T” line and likely do something with the MBs or CBS? 🤷🏼‍♂️

One thing I felt titleist did well with the AP range was that aesthetically the 1 and the 2 always look closely related. Visually maybe not so much but set blending wasn’t as common back then.

With the t100 being such a refined club the sundials, wheels, max pads and plastic backs of the t200/300 releases have been a bit tacky. Surely someone at the company would have the balls to stand up and say “hey isn’t this just a little bit more of a TaylorMade thing?”

If you take the 2019 t200 for example. If you get rid of that silly little wheel in the back they would have a smooth looking club that looked like a great upgrade from the AP3.

Have you seen the Taylormade p series irons the last few years? None of what you described is true of Taylormade irons these days. I agree though, the T100 is a great looking iron but the 200/300 aren’t nearly as classy looking.

yes, but only focusing on the p series completely negates such recent monstrosity as the sim and sim 2 from your argument. Actually it negates about 20 years of irons that support my statement…carry on though

I played only titleist for 16 years. Made a switch in the last few years. I will say I love their drivers, fairway woods, and hybrid. I just bought my first Scotty Cameron in a while. But I don’t love their irons anymore. I love a forged iron with some forgiveness. T200 looks exactly from address like an iron I would love, but sounds and feels not the best. T100 is really small. I can play them, but prefer to make the game easier. So where I am in on woods and hybrids. I’ll keep playing srixon irons and callaway wedges based on feel. I hope this new line is an upgrade.

Definitely not May.  Look for a late July/ Early August for public fittings and release.  Titleist staff will be before that.

the main reason I went with the T100S. Probably a bit too small of a head for my skill-level but I didn't want to commit to the 200s with that tingy plastic back plate. Loved everything else about the 200s except that misstep

From what I heard today, the T200 will be the biggest change.   Not much changing in the T100, pros don't' want it changed or messed up. T300 some subtle changes but nothing too drastic.  It's a great performing GI iron, I think there is some room to improve the sound a bit on mishits with it.  But otherwise it's great.

We had a Titleist demo day today at our club in FL. Spoke with the rep who has seen and hit the new offerings. He said the T100/t100s will not change, other than some cosmetics. Titleist feels they have a good thing going and see no reason to alter anything with them.  The 200 will have the biggest upgrade.  “A slimmer version, with looks more characteristic of the 100.”  We didn’t talk about the 300, but I’m waiting to see what they come up with before I buy new irons.  Was ready to pull the trigger on JPX923F.

He said they should be available late summer.  Titleist staff will be testing early next month.

Just a technical clarity. Titleist Reps next month for fitting. PGA Staff Pros  will be fit and testing in later June.

I don't see how they can keep going slimmer with all their offerings. They have plenty of irons in the slim category, and outside of that just t300/400 in the game improvement.

It's great that the t100/200 offer forgiveness for their size, but I would love to see them offer an iron in a "mid-size" (blade length/sole).

Any word on a CB/MB upgrade?

It was not definite  but some thought on CB going away.   Same with T400 with a replacement perhaps in January 25

A slimmer, better looking, and feel to the 200 sounds like a winner!

Interesting but makes sense. Don’t change the 100 series. Maybe push some borderline 100 series golfers into more appealing 200’s.

I kinda felt that way myself. 80% of the time I can handle 100’s. But winter and early season I’m a 200 player lol

So is the t150 just a rumor? Everything I have read since, says it is.

IMO t200 is a great shape and size. It simply need better sound and feel.

The rep I spoke definitely spoke of a T200 not a replacement for it.  So I would say it's unlikely there is a new T150.  But who knows?

I imagine with the success of the T100/T100s requests have been made to make them better if possible but don't mess them up.  Kind of like the TSi to TSR change.

Yep exactly. If you have seen any videos by Josh Talge or JJ at Titliest that’s the one thing JT and Spieth have hammered home during design.  Don’t mess up the T100 with any changes.

And you are correct fbey all loved TSI from a cosmetic and sound standpoint. But Titliest was able to find a bit more speed.
