Paradym Triple Diamond.......Whoa momma

Long story but was at a golf outing warming up with my stealth a few weeks ago.  10 min until tee off balls start going right and not feeling right.  Was freaking out thinking my swing was messed up!  I hit probably 10 more before finally looking down and seeing that face was cracked and at this point was lifting away from club!  I hurried into the pro shop and they had a brand new 8 degree triple diamond still in the wrapper as a demo.  Stock shaft-  in stealth I have LA Golf DJ.  Took a few holes to get used to it but wow.  Got home and immediately ordered triple diamond with Fujkura Ventus Black 7x.  Been playing it for last 2 weeks and by far the best combo in a driver I've ever hit.  I have heavier weight up front and then moved loft up +1.  I was told the heavier weight up front should lower launch and increase ball speed if up front.  I hit up on ball 2-3 degrees on average with 112-115ish ss and it seems perfect.  Hard to turn over left but at my course left is bad so sets up perfect for home course.

TM did replace the stealth with this years version but I haven't even taken the wrapper off it!  So impressed by this driver.  Would never have even tried it had the stealth head not cracked.

Sell your replacement Stealth 2.  I did and switched over to the Paradym triple diamond.  Couldn't be happier.  FYI, I'm a self professed TM fan boy but the Paradym outperformed the Stealth 2+ in almost every single way for me.

Took the TD out this weekend and it is definitely more forgiving then it looks and the feel is great. I hit some balls way off the sweet spot that still went a long way. My issue was I normally have to try my hardest to turn the ball over and play a draw but with this thing everything wanted to draw and sometimes a lot. When I had the TSR3 I literally couldn’t hit a draw with it, would try my hardest and it would be a straight ball. About the same with the 430 LST. Tried different settings and switched weights around on the TD but still wanted to go left on me for some reason and that’s definitely not my normal miss.

How are you liking that PD TD with GT70TX combo? I want to try the GT but have been a Ventus guy for a while, any chance you have a comparison?

Loving the combo.  I see that you're playing the TR Black which I've tested.  I'd say that  the GT is a tweener between the OG Black and Blue.  A beefed up blue board profile.  A little more stout and stable than the TR Blue.  It does have a hint of kick and is more mid/low launch with low spin.  Smoother than the TR Blue.

I've been going back and forth between a G430 LST and a TD.  Initially was leaning towards the LST because it seemed more forgiving.  On the course though, I seem prone to the lefts with it.  Ive been grooving the TD in the sim and am seeing 2-4 more mph ball speed, and dispersion seems very manageable.  It's going in the bag next round I play, and that will hopefully settle things.  Need to commit to a driver for the year

Funny - have been an all Callaway bag for the last 3 years - most of this being driven by having a close friend who was a Master Callaway fitter and having access to fitting sessions with Trakman.  Hit the Epic Speed Max LS well, couldn't keep a Rogue Max LS from going left, and went to get fit this year at an independent fitter due to moving.  Wanted to walk away with a Paradym, but the Stealth 2 Plus was much better in 2 fitting sessions.  Have had for a month and it is the best I have hit driver in the last 7-10 years.  You never know...

Going through a similar thing with the Triple diamond and G430 LST myself.

I need to hit the course and just play a few holes with both in the bag to see what the difference is in the real world.

I think the Stealth 2 Plus was too anti-left for me. The PD TD allows me to turn the ball over R to L a bit and I really did not lose any right--this was a problem for me with the TM.

I can completely see that and that is reason that I like it so much.  The flatter lie angle seems to help control my left miss.  Always great when you find equipment that matches up with your tendencies / preferences for ball flight.

On Callaway site it has the ventus blue TR 6 as a $250 upgrade but the 5 & 7 blue tr and the other ventus are all $350. Is it some sort of made for offering or just a good deal ?

Most likely a good deal.  There's no made for Ventus TR blue as far as I know.

I found the Stealth 2+ easier to turnover than the OG.  Did you use the same shaft in both Paradym TD and Stealth 2+?

Yeah, using the same shaft. Had the Paradym TD out for round 2 yesterday with a VA Nemesys 65 X and had the same results as my first round in terms of driving the ball. My playing partner--a guy who knows my game well even remarked that he'd never seen me hit drives with such a strong flight.

Totally. I am not trying to swing any differently with this driver and my shot dispersion is much better. Its like a light bulb going off.

I tried the 10.5 with the weights set heavy back but still couldn't get over 1500 spin. 😥 Shame because it was so straight up the gut every time.

Player shaft, hacker head for me I guess. Always been that way.

TD or X?  The X was 400 rpm more spin for me on average.

Looks like I will have to sit out tomorrow's round, I was looking forward to trying the GD UB 5s but due to some family things it will have to wait. I did not have any unreal expectations but still that excitement of trying something new is there.

The TD. The regular paradym, movable weight one, was 2200-2300. I naturally have a high launch low spin. Of course now that I was looking at other drivers my GBB Epic has been $$. I hit a beauty of a cut off the first tee yesterday and about a 1yd. draw off the last tee to par a nasty 420yd. par 4. That face has smacked a lotta balls. Pretty sure it would be illegal if it were tested at this point.

Just got one in and got weights and everything dialed in. I have gone through every tsr head and g430 heads in multiple lofts..so far, this 💎💎💎 seems unbeatable as a total package if you get your settings and everything dialed in.

Yes this thing is a monster. Went for a fitting a couple weeks ago, thinking I would fit into the Stealth 2 Plus or Aerojet LS. I'd been having issues with high spin and ballooning tee shots. I hit the Paradym Triple Diamond 9* last, adjusted to 8* with a draw setting, and it was far and away the best. It blew me away. Played with it on Monday and hit 10 fairways.

Same exact settings that I have found best as well. My usual miss with drivers is slightly high and toe side with flatter settings so the few degrees more upright was perfect.

What weight configuration did you settle on? Standard 14/2 but seeing lots play 10/5 or 14/7 depending on shaft length. I have TD driver on order but thinking I’ll grab some weights to play with too.

Just took the plunge and bought the triple D with a UST Mimiya LinQ 6f4 and just took it for a range sesh. What an amazing club. The sound, the feel, the ball flight, everything, is 10/10. It really does just want to go straight. I've played a ton of drivers and this one, so far, is top of the charts. I just left shaking my head.
