Poll - Titleist Putters

Hi guys.  Simple question - would you buy a newly made Titleist putter?  I’m talking one with no Cameron branding.  Don’t get me wrong I like Camerons but I am jonesing for a line with just Titleist branding.

I mean if Titilest released a line of milled putters similar to the old Scotties they would sell so many imo.  Scotty is more focused on selling the same putter year over year.

Back when retail Camerons were genuinely top tier kit, they featured prominent Titleist stampings. I honestly preferred it that way.

Same. The only Camerons I've owned were the older ones with the Titleist script in the cavity. I'm down to just owning one now, a Mil-Spec.

Personally I just want a Titleist line without cherry bombs and excessive branding like Titleist’s other products.   Some clean blades and a few mallets.

Only way you're getting that is buy buying a Circle T and ones with Titleist branding go for more. 

 

No chance we'll probably see any significant Titleist branding on an OTR Scotty. That's just wishful thinking that one day we will.

I don’t like the circle T branding.  If it has that on there I don’t want it, even for $399.  Give us something clean and uncluttered 

 

Seems Odyssey is dominating Cameron lately anyways.  Got a jailbird on order.

I doubt we will ever see a retail Titleist putter without SC branding.  Only way that happens is when SC walks away.

Vokey has gone the same route. I loved them with with big titleist on the back of the wedge. Now it's on the hosel without paint fill. And for the ones saying they'd play a putter with a big purple dinosaur then you need to leave the "equipment" forum. I'd buy one in a heartbeat but I also love hunting for the old putters I'd admired so much before I could afford them.

same goes for wedges. If there was ever a Titleist branded wedge line (non-vokey), i'd preorder.

It doesn't win every week. Until last fall it hadn't won for many years on tour and was a long discontinued 9 year old product. No matter your hyperbole.

Yes it's won 3 consecutive events in a row but how is still going? Can you be certain some other putter since 2014 that hasn't been some anomaly as the Jailbird hasn't won 3 consecutive events? Provide please. We know that won't happen. 

 

Like others you are spewing generic words that don't address questions you've been asked directly. Same as in the ball rollback thread.

 

I'll play your game. Kegan, Rickie and Wyndham have won the last three events with putters with similar corporate branding aren't close to being the same due to the following, Having different grips, different inserts, different internal weighting, lead tape weighting vs. no lead tape weighting, different lengths, etc. To say nothing that KB, RF and WC don't all have the exact same stroke.

 

The putter you bought is heavier than Keegan's, doesn't have removable weights like RF/WC, Is higher lofted than RF/WC specs, no lead tape weighting as the RF/WC version. Possibly different overall lengths as well. But hey it's got Jailbird branding.

 

While the same branded putter has won 3 consecutive events they aren't the same  setup wise for all 3 players when compared to what you've purchased. But but Jailbird.

So many Scotty fan boys are mad about the Jailbirds success and folks wanting to try them. I don’t get it

I agree on the wedges.

 

The old Kostis wedges from the late 80s, the forged, player-initialled wedges of the mid/late 90s and the early Bobka raw wedges all looked great with minimal, Titleist stamping.
