I don’t get it.

After you get your clubs, you need to have the lofts lies checked anyway, to make sure they are correct. Go see your fitter, hit some shots, and see what your gaps are. Should be free.

One starting point might be T200 5 iron (standard 24 degrees), T200 6 iron (1 weak at 28 degrees), T150 7 iron (standard 32 degrees) on down at standard lofts.

Now I’m a 13 Hc coming from the 923 hot metals. I was fit into the old t200 a month  ago and never hit the 150s. You think I should stick with the t200 or f*** it and play what I want lol

Life’s short and nobody else really cares what you have in the bag. Not like we’re on tour — the stakes aren’t that high. Play what you want!

That said, during my fitting I honestly didn’t find a super huge difference in forgiveness between the T200 and T150. A little less spin.

I just got fit today...

4i T200 1 degree week (this matches T150 loft progression)

5-PW T150

I moved the T200 in 4i as I wasn't getting the ball speed I needed for appropriate gapping out of T150 4i. Flight was also a touch low. 5i T150 was perfectly fine.

What club would you compare the t150 to? I’m gaming 923 and don’t want to completely screw my self with the 150s

I have gamed different clubs (i230, T100, ZX7) and just got fitted recently to T200/T150. My split is 4-6, then 7-PW (also picked up the GW). I would leave your T150 alone and just deloft your T200 by one degree. If you check the Titleist page, you'll see that the T200 have been redesigned with the lofts one degree stronger than the prior model, so loft wise it'll blend perfectly.

First question should be, are you comfortable with 923 if so why switch? Also not sure which version you play? Forged or HM? I haven't hit the 923s but would consider T150 comparable to 923 Forged.

Nah hot metal. I got them when I just started golfing and now I’m shooting low 80s. I want something thinner and not crazy loft jacked

Did you discuss gapping & adjusting the irons with the fitter during your fitting? If you’re placing the order where you hit, ask him about the lofts & what he recommends and do another session before ordering or after the clubs come in. No one here can just say bend the 5 weak and 6 strong etc. Everyone is different. You need a dynamic fitting.

Edit: Looks like you said you got fit for Just the t200 and never hit the 150? You’re just guessing then. Go hit them.

Some flavor of the month driver.
Some driving iron for Links courses.

A hybrid to save my bad shots.
Titleist blades when I feel lucky otherwise something more forgiving.
A Vokey wedge or 2.
I hate every one of my 17 putters.

For the cost these are gonna run you, just get fit and do it right. I wouldn’t wanna waste nearly $2000 and have it be wrong.

Sorry, I’m not following you? The T150 line is 32* and 36* default for 7/8i, respectively. As I mentioned, leave the T150 lofts alone and weaken the lofts on your T200 to blend your lofts.

I got a full bag fitting couple months ago. Only ordered putter and UT from fitter. He recommended the 21 version of the T200 but told him I’d wait for the new version to come out. He wants to charge me $200 to get refit and I don’t want to spend that so know I’m just guessing

I get it. That’s crappy that your fitting is $200. Most around Portland Oregon are 60-130. Anyways, your money, spend it how you want. Good luck on your setup

I’m a 3 handicap and 53 years old. I’m currently gaming Wilson Staff model combo set 5-6 iron in CB’s and 7-PW in blades. Any amateur shouldn’t be playing blades but I have been doing ok with them. I’m considering a switch to the T150 and T200 combo set. I feel it would give me a little more forgiveness around the face. Thoughts anyone?

Club Champion fitting start I believe at $175 and go up. I done several fittings over the years and they are a great tool but it’s really about how your hitting that day. I’ve been fit to a particular set up one week went back to confirm and couldn’t hit s***. So it’s worth talking to others and retesting the set up to be sure, take your time and get it right.

I did a fitting last fall with a Titleist fitter, specifically to see if I would benefit from a blended set, and tried both the 350s for long irons, and the 150s for short irons.  I ended up staying with the full set of T200s.

We didn’t think the 350 suited my swing, and we couldn’t get the gaps as close with the 150s.  So no benefits FOR ME from a blended set.  A bit of a surprise, but that’s what fittings are for.

I did a Titleist fitting back in mid-August. It was $100 and went toward the cost of the irons I bought. Was also nice to be able to use my golf ball of choice (Pro V1X) during the fitting.

Ended up in a blended set of T-200 6 and 7 irons bent 1° weak, and T-150 8, 9 and PW at standard loft. Tried multiple 5 irons and nothing worked better than my TSR2 24° hybrid and the gapping was perfect between the T-200 6 iron and that hybrid. That worked out just fine because it left me more options in the wedges, which was needed given the 44° PW. I've got 4° gaps all the way from 6 iron (28°) to my lob wedge (60°).

The T-200s had lower spin and more distance than the T-150s, but the height and landing angle were both higher, so that pretty much negated the spin difference. I'd probably have more of a gap at the top had I gone with the T-150s all the way through, so I'm happy with my choice.
