I didn't get a chance to watch any of the Open and haven't been able to find a recent WITB for him.  I'm also anxious to get a look at Bubba Watson's G430 driver.  Ping was doing some cool things with the tungsten weights in his previous ones.

Getty Images also had him using a Paradym at the last LIV event over the weekend. So seems like Phil is tinkering a bit as he does.

I guess Phil is a freelancer now, don't see him listed on the Callaway site as a Tour team member, there are a few other LIV players listed. Is he still playing Callaway irons?

I wonder how the LIV players are staying current with the latest and greatest they hardly have tour trucks at their tournaments .

I mean I don't blame him, I just got one a few weeks ago and it seems REALLY good.  I haven't even fiddled with the shaft, just using the Tour Chrome 2.0, and seems high launch and sometimes dangerously low spin.

Even when he was a member of the PGA Tour, he'd mess around with other equipment companies. He's never been shy in that regard.

 

He's still using Callaway irons and mostly a Callaway bag. I think he's been off the Team member website since his 6 month gag order from the PGA before LIV was official.

Ping is going to be too forgiving for him. How is he going to hit miraculous shots out of the junk if he hits every fairway?

BOOOOOOO........I think they're catering more to the average hack.  Perhaps the full toe wedges are a thing now and that's what brings in bigger profits?  The only person I know that has full toe wedges in his bag is my cousin.
