A buddy of mine plays on the korn ferry tour. He's on his 9th head.  Two cracked in competition.  My local retailer assumes they've had over 30 cracked Stealth heads.  They all come apart the same way. The face lifts free from the chassis.

 

The ratio problems between Titleist, PING, and TM stealth drivers is completely lopsided with the latter being the main offender.

Oh, that and Twist Face isn't real. It's just bulge and roll and every company has that....

stealth 2 is very forgiving idk what you're on about... twist face is definitely a real thing, not saying its revolutionary but it definitely exists...

There irons have a gap. Getting rid of p760 was a mistake. You hear the former txg guys saying the same thing each time Taylormade comes up.

760 were an abysmal seller.  It's a small handful of people who pine over it for some reason.  TM has more than covered the gap with their current lineup.

This is my guess too. Basically the inverse of Cally’s Paradym. Nobody knows how much carbon is in the Cally so the tech story gets lost. A cup face will be obvious and likely less expensive to manufacture…less total carbon than the Cally

I could have sworn that when Stealth came out, TaylorMade stated that they would NEVER make another non-carbon face driver again. I will need to find that article.

TaylorMade is so committed to the Carbonwood that it has said it will never make another titanium-faced driver. It’s so serious, in fact, that job titles are changing. Guys have literally had the Metalwood in their job tiles changed to Carbonwood.

I see more Stealth drivers in play than any other driver.  I think it needs to be said that the pros and serious amateurs hit hundreds, if not thousands of shots with the driver each week.  Failure is common, and was common even in Titanium heads.

I would love if they would just be able to fill 2023 orders. Ordered the 770's beginning of July, entire set is delayed 3 months, due to Project X-T 6.5, 7 Iron shaft. Looked today, just got pushed another week to Mid October ship date.

 

Anyone else experiencing this?

Got the call an hour after the post that they are at Golf Galaxy awaiting pickup!!!

The "MySpider Tour" is no longer on the TaylorMade website it seems, so I'm guessing those new Tour model putter can't be too far away?

Too bad they don't offer customization of the sight lines for the blade putters, like a dot on topline. Any OEM's offering that for blade putters?

My MG4 TW say it won't ship till NEW YEAR!!!   MG4 56 with S400 Tour Issued.....

 

The Head was the item with the delayed date....

Completely agree.  I hit the Stealth 2 (plus) very well and found it extremely trustworthy in the flight expectations.  It's the fragility of the head that is killing the product.  My retail manager friend says they aren't even selling Stealth drivers at any meaningful rate.  It's the slow part of the season but he says most driver buyers are Titleist and PING.

 

I know it's petty but enough of the black and red.  Go back to blue/grey/chalk for the next colorway - if for no other reason but it reminds us of the best and most reliable TM drivers in the last 10 years, the SIM line. (M2 was good too)

Durability definitely a problem. On my 3rd stealth head already. Bought a sim for backup and anytime I want to swing hard in practice
