I own a Stealth Plus and I am so tempted to buy a TSR3 but my brain is saying wait till next year. I just can't put my finger on it why I don't like my Stealth.

They need to go back to the non Carbon. Stealth and Stealth 2 have been.....not good for the general public. Just rerelease the SIM and they will sell more, at least to people actually getting fit and not just buying because of marketing.

Really good. Hate the price, but an absolute rocket. Everything else in their line right now is great, just not the drivers.

Local store manager mentioned this about six weeks ago. Be interesting to see how TM market the change.

Oh man I miss the old TP stuff with the badge and aftermarket options.  Also remember lads, the manufacturers are working on releases 4-5 years ahead.  They already had 2024 planned in 2020......

I see a return to titanium faces in the next driver as a long shot. TSR has shown all titanium heads can still get the job done but I do believe TM is going to stay with the carbon face for 2024. The weight savings of the carbon face is too significant to be overlooked. I just feel TM hasn’t got the forgiveness and moderately low spin equation solved yet. Maybe 2024 will be the year.

They’ve done a great job of ball speed retention with the carbon face, but they have had issues with inserts breaking or coming loose. It happened in the original and 2nd generation Stealth drivers. No doubt the concept is sound in physics, but they don’t seem to be able to get a hold on how to bond the carbon face to the body with no failure rate. If, and that’s the key word here, they can fix the bonding issue they may continue, but those engineers are smart and they haven’t been able to fix it so far through 2 releases.

Can you explain what you mean by saying “not been good for the general public”?

I was fit for and purchased a Stealth 2 (non by+ model).  I’ve hit it very well but the face popping out is always on my mind.  Although I have it, I’m not a fan of the red face but I do love the TM driver shape.

 

I agree with @BURKMI19 2024 was most likely planned years ago.  Bringing back the TP logo would be awesome.

I’d love to see a return of the Burner line. The burner mini has clearly been a hit. Why not a full scale release with irons and fairways?

 

my Sim2 Max and Stealth 3w are amazing. Never got into the carbon wood thing.

Without knowing the numbers, it feels like since Stealth was originally released there have been more free agents using TSi3/TSR3, PING G425/430 LST which are all (exception of 430) titanium. Morikawa opted to use SIM. 
 

Going to be very interesting to see how they explain their way back to using some titanium components again.

 

Drivers and fairways are what they’re known for and feels like all carbon everything hasn’t quiet revolutionised the industry they would’ve hoped.

I would love to see the BRNR/300 Mini a little bigger, maybe around 330cc/340cc and with a standard loft around 9.5° with +/- 1.5° adjustment sitting square to slightly open at 9.5°.  No carbon face but keeping the titanium face.

I’ve wanted to like the stealth line but I still have a SIM2 driver in the bag. Bring back the SIM line.

Yeah when you market the “carbon wood age” as the era of titanium is over it sort of puts you in a box. 
 

I think the best driver Taylor Made makes right now is the much cheaper M4.

Yes. It's simply not forgiving. It's great out of the middle but compared to a TSR2 or a G430, Paradym X, it is awful on mishits. 

 

Sure, they have a lot of tour players playing them, but they hit the middle of the face a lot. 

 

Oh, that and Twist Face isn't real. It's just bulge and roll and every company has that....

Strange comments to me. The Stealth Plus is the only driver that could kick the RBZ driver out of the bag after years of trying. Very forgiving.

Both were awesome. SIM was really really good.
