Harrington continues to deliver year end year out. If they can sign some peeps (men, women, seniors) to play their irons that can consistently win that can lead to a broadening of product usage on tour. I can remember when Titleist was so arrogant they wouldn’t pay anyone a decent contract to play their equipment. Now they pay any goober $50k a year for the ball and $5k a week for a driver…hence “the number one ball in golf.” 
 

Wilson has 65 majors and MacGregor had 59…when Taylormade/Callaway/Titleist/Ping or Mizuno can get 25 majors in the bag with their irons, then maybe they can puff out there chest a little. Until then they’re just another mass market club for weekend hackers…

getting back to the clubs... the new CB's look very nice. I saw them last night at a Golftown here in Canada and I am very intrigued to say the least. Plus the stock DG mid 115 is right in my wheelhouse.

So am I…can’t decide if I want the CB or Dynapwr Forged. Either will be with KBS Tour $-Taper 110…

I assume the irons will be introduced this week. Maybe wedges first. They run teaser ads on Instagram that I kind of like but they've done it the same way for several years. i want them to blow up any marketing stuff they used to do and be different.

They have nothing to lose.

The new staff balls should be available on or about 12 January, the staff blade & cb 24 January, the staff wedges in mid March, and Dynapwr Forged irons the first week of March. You can pre-order now if you know your preferred specs.

I sure hope that's not too late on delivery dates. New users who haven't tried Wilson are waiting around when theres so much good stuff out there. Not sure whats the norm.

There isn’t a norm…most companies new releases are staggered November through March. Wilson has accelerated their release this year…thankfully.

I did that last year with D9 Forged/Staff CB & Recoil Dart 75…worked pretty well.

I'm planning on the same if I like looking down at Dyna Forged, otherwise it'll be a straight CB set.

At address it should look very similar to D9F. My understanding is minimal changes…quite the contrast from the D7F to D9F change, which was significant.

Only on the 3-7, 8-GW are std sole. I’ve been playing them almost 2 years now and that’s just something I don’t think about or pay attention to. I look for appearance at address, ball flight, and feel…nothing else matters for me.

I’m going back to Wilson staff cb’s for the third time in 2 years.  The last 2 were not great set ups for me.  This time I’m going with a set up I know very well.  Played some of my best rounds with the cb’s.

 

I really can’t wait to hear about the changes on these new ones because they look outstanding!  If at all possible, would love to see the 8i at address.

not sure about last years CB...I just came from a set of MP20 blades... to me they seem to be very T150 or ZX7 like in stature.

Wow, those CB's look awesome. I had a set last year but needed more help at this point in my 'career' and opted for the D9s which I do love. I just had the D9s re-shafted with some accra shafts which are a bit lighter than the Darts that were in them to begin with. I'm trying to make it through 2024 with no equipment changes. 

 

I've seen Duo's and previous version of Staff balls on sale with a buy 2 get 1 free promo, but nothing similar on the Triads. Does anyone know if they will be running a promo on the Triads in the next couple of months?

Triad has dropped to $34 a dozen…that is a fixed price change for this year.

I'm anxious to see how all of the new product, clubs, bags, gloves, headwear, apparel and fitting comes together. To gain traction in impressing better players this needs to be fairly seamless. If all of this goes well then adding second version of DynaPwr woods next year could be cherry on the sundae.

still waiting on club champion to either deliver the 2023 wilson cb iron set i bought from my fitting a few weeks ago, or they might move me up to the new 2024 version.  i hope wilson releases their new clubs soon, i'm itching to upgrade my D7F and get into more of a player's iron.  it's just alittle weird, it looks like i can order the 2023 cbs from wilson.com but club champion says they can't get ahold of them.  i'd be really disheartened if this is a selling tactic to get me to pay more for the new model when i'm fine with the last gen.

Wilson is out of ‘21 CB heads for custom builds. The only thing left is stock sets that are floating around. I can get you a custom set of 2024 CB’s without a fitting fee or astronomical upcharges and drop ship them to your house…if you know your specs.

Any chance Dynapower drivers get discounted soon with all the new releases coming out? See the Aerojet is already $400 which is an amazing deal and all other OEM have discounted as well.

 

Looking to get fitted for a Dynapower but might wait if the price drops soon.

No…Dynapwr just came out in March and it’s only $429 to start with, the carbon is only $499. They both are already $100-170 less than the other drivers. Add to it the hzrdus smoke rdx red & black 60/70g shafts in stiff & x-stiff are competitive with Ventus red/black velocore shafts…minus the $350 upcharge of course. So that’s a minimum potential savings of $450…I would say that more than covers the price drop you’re looking for. 
 

Titleist didn’t discount nor did Ping…neither is bringing out a new driver either. Taylormade, Callaway, and Cobra are…hence the price drop.
