As of this moment I’m leaning towards the Vessel bc it has a separate valuables pocket which could be useful in a pinch, and head to head with the Ghost bag, it seems less for more. Still browsing - really like those Nike bags and may grab one (Under $30 from Nike) to have. 
 

This $200 gift card is burning a hole in my pocket and I really don’t have much else I want.

I have the Vessel shoe bag and a Jones classic shoe bag, both gifts from member-guest events. Not sure I would have bought either for myself, but I do find it keeps my trunk a bit more organized during golf season. Nice feature on both is there is a separate storage section - good spot to keep a couple extra spikes, an extra pair of laces, and some socks. Not sure I’d pay full retail for either, but definitely nice and I use them far more than any of the cheap ones I’ve picked up over the years.

Does your Vessel have the putting targets? Is it functional at all with that, if so?

I've bought a couple over the years. One I got with my TW13's earlier this year since you had to buy a second item to get 20% off or something like that so I bought a shoe bag similar to the orange Nike shoe box one. Works fine, nothing special but it's a shoe bag. As long as it doesn't fall apart that's all I really need out of it. I also have a cheap one from UA that had a divider down the middle which worked well. I probably paid about $35 each for them. I'm a member at a private club so I don't really use them all that often but when I do they work well. I certainly wouldn't be spending hundreds of dollars on a shoe bag. That has to be one of the biggest gouges I've seen. Although I guess they wouldn't put it up for that price if people weren't paying it, so what do I know...

I got one as swag for a college alumni outing years ago and have used it since.

Nothing fancy but it does the trick.

Attach it to a carabiner clip on bag's towel ring while transporting.

I have a couple of older Footjoy shoe bags and use them all the time. Easy to grab and helps keep my trunk clean. Also, as a guest of certain clubs, it's tacky to carry loose golf shoes in a clubhouse and the bag makes it much easier to transport.

Waiting on my Vessel. I have many golf and non golf related products from them and I love their customer support.
 

Our new club is a very hoity toity private club and I am generally Al Czervik. Hence this thread.
 

Comparing the club we are transitioning from and this new one, it takes about 40-60 min longer per round due to over adherence to custom and pace of play. 
 

But the course is even more beautiful and the caddies are excellent. Changing your shoes at your locker is a small cost of doing business, but it’s a bunch of extra time I used to spend warming up.

I have each of my 3 pair of golf shoes in a shoe bag. The ones I have are FootJoy and I think they were around $20 a piece. I wasn't looking for anything fancy or flashy just needed something that I could put them in after the round.

 

Not so much for protection but mainly so I'm not getting grass/dirt/mud in the back of my car after each round.

Got my Vessel. Very happy. Lots of storage between the pocket and the removable lining. I can see stashing socks and gloves in there. Maybe keeping some valuables. Got it with a coupon and my gift card so I’m happy.

I bought a Caddy Daddy shoe bag off Amazon. Less than $20, holds shoes (important) and has mesh panels to allow shoes to dry (even more important).

I got one of these shag bags as a gift a few years ago. Been using it as a shoe bag ever since. Holds my size 12 shoes perfectly.
