Do you use a golf shoe bag? If so, which?

Do you use a bag for your shoes? I have two nylon bags that are both POS but work. I received a $200 gift card and am tempted by Ghost Golf and Vessel. I do have 12% off coupon at GG. 
 

Anyone have either? Was thinking about the Oreo from Ghost or the gray from Vessel (I have a few Vessel bags). 
 

I have to carry my shoes around - how do you do it? Cheap and effective? Fancy and durable? 
 

Is it too bougie to have a fancy shoe bag, and why shouldn’t I care that it is?

I have several pairs of shoes and they are all in shoe bags.  I buy cheap bags like Datrek and they work great.  Since they are old, not sure how much they were but a bet they were around $10 or $15.

I have two similar ones that are lost and I can’t find them. It’s a major pita bc new club doesn’t allow shoes in the lot like the old one. Fancy fancy….

I won a bag in a tournament years ago, I never use one since I have all weathertech mats on floor board and back of the suv. Only way I can see myself using one is on golf trips or in a buddy's car which will probably never happen.

I have a Callaway shoe bag with an EMC logo, so it must have been a giveaway. I only used it when traveling and packing my shoes with other clothes. My club shipping container now has room for shoes, so I rarely, if ever use the shoe bag any longer.

I have a footjoy bag from the PGASS. Also have a carabiner on the handle and clip it to my bag before I leave the house. I forget my shoes way less often now.

I use the shoe bag from Big Max out of all the options at my golf store it felt the best honestly. No complaints, it's not fancy like the Ghost or Vessel ones but it holds my shoes just fine.

I had a Travis Mathew shoe bag that could also be used as a 12 can insulated cooler if one so desired. Well made. Pretty nice. IIRC they are no longer made.

When I'm a guest at a private club where I'll be changing shoes in the locker room, I use a small leather Fossil duffle bag with a broken zipper that I've had for 15+ years.

Why didn't you say so ... If it's an upscale club, go with a used brown paper sack. If it's a common run of the mill club, Wal Mart bag will do the job.

 

But you have to go out and back it up with a 67.

To be clear - not a guest. I just belong to two private clubs at the moment. One we self park and change shoes in the lot next to the range. The other is valet parking only and locker room only for any sort of activity bordering on grooming or dressing or independent thought. I want the bag to keep my shoes in the car when I go between the two.

how’re the materials? I really like these and they’re not that expensive at all…doesn’t look to be premium materials from images and Nike site doesn’t have more detail. Any info?

I have the older version of the Nike shoebox.  It's polyester, but padded and keeps its shape well. The Jordan shoe box is similar to what I have in terms of features.

 

The new Nike shoebox has a cord handle, shoulder strap and inside pocket.  

 

The size is good.  It can fit my size 12 shoes without any problems.

I wanted these when I saw them but my 4’s, 6’s, and 12’s won’t fit due to my size 12-13 shoes. I use cheap shoe bags I found on Amazon. I think they were 2 for $20

Used to go on a golf trip every year and the raffle prizes always included a shoe bag.   For some reason, the custom was that when someone picked the shoe bag, all the golfers would chant "put it on your head," and the recipient was obliged to do so.  I have no idea how this came about.   It just was.  It got really weird one year when the giveaway gifts for everyone included a shoe bag.  We all just kind of looked around and seconds later, there were 150 golfers with shoe bags on their heads.   Strange.

It's totally fine for any low and most mid tops, but high tops are an issue.

 

AJ6s and AJ12s won't fit, but the low top golf versions fit fine.  AJ4s will fit, but that's about the max room.
