Well gentlemen, the adults have stepped into the room. My last post, a multiple paragraphs long manifesto about behavioral control was deleted immediately.

I regret to inform you that my short career as a not so in the closet authoritarian, semi-psychopath, mini dictator, wannabe golf consultant that was never given any authority in life…..has now been brought to a close.

Thank you all for participating and now please return to your normal programming.

You can mess with people to a point but inevitably the man is going to keep you down - I think I’ll watch a classic Pam Grier movie tonight.

Hey GoGo, you are one of the few that got to witness my manifesto.  You lucky dog.

I'm proud to say that I saw it, and were I not sitting in the interminably slow drive through to get my $1 breakfast sandwich, I'd have drawn up something resembling the Dante's nine levels of Hell, with a few user avatars at various levels.

Either way, I'm glad the real virtuoso has resurfaced.

Hits 50 almost as far as Dechambeau hits a 47.  Rory only hits GW 130.   I swing driver 120 and only hit 50 125.  impressive.

And to quote Monte from a thread from long ago, "just because you CAN hit your SW 150 yards doesn't mean you SHOULD. Good golf does not include a long wedge contest".

The answer to better golf is work your butt off and learn how to hit it better, farther, and make more putts.

Been offline since yesterday.  Wish I'd seen the manifesto.  Bravo Virtuoso.  Bravo.

Yeah, well, don't expect any of us to send our kids to your golf "camp" either. Especially with those funky numbered uniforms you want them to wear.

No, that's good golf.

Your explanation of how you fat dump partial wedges is where you fall into the 25 handicap range.

Im attempting to explain. How about the thousands golf teachers that do it for living and can't. Its fun to see stuff. I'm not operating off a teaching framework so I apologize. What else is the point of coming here. Driver heads and shafts mean nothing compared to this stuff.

Here is what I like to see and I believe Virtuoso was getting at. Convo can move forward if you let it. Do I need to show you a swing from a few years ago that couldn't break par or something? I'll preface everything with IMHO if that helps lol..

Here is what I like to see. Hogan has the head working down but not in the same way as rory below. Since I started this journey years ago it always looked like Hogan was swinging up on the ball, atleast much more than modern players

Versus my favorite player rors where the down has to be managed too much with a speeding up of the pivot which trails then front runs which the arms run into eventually into a cutoff finish IMO. An unavoidable look if you do it this way.

Yeah, but the people late to the party were reacting exactly as rational, moral, free human beings should react.....with abject horror. They just weren't in on the joke yet. Not trying to trick them. They would have figured it out as I went more crazy with Kiwigolf's correct assertion that i was trying to commit a coup. I was just having fun trying to hijack this burning train and steer it to a different, even weirder place.

I was laughing with a couple guys offline about the backstory of the character I was trying to play, and may post the bullet points of that strange scary little man.

Everyone relax @virtuoso is what we call "busting balls" on cav5 and R2L. I did have to be informed of this and didn't figure it out on my own.  Personally might of been a bit too much and its being taken the wrong way by the forum including me at first. He's just pointing out the absurdity/arogrance of the "bounce bois" See Dunning Kruger effect

It wasn't really even about them as much as I thought that the thread had run its course with the arguments and numerous dissents......and I was bored, so I hatched a plan to try to make it shift course and become all about a sad little man that wanted to take over all your golfing lives.

Understood. Based on your posting history my feeling is that you are smarter than you let on. Probably smarter than my local pro who tried to help a friend today. I had to step in and rescue the lesson once the pro started going sideways. I'm glad I was there. He's screwed up half our membership. The staff won't let me teach there but said I could sit in on lessons of people I already know. It's pretty sad actually.

So, does this mean you actually don't think I'm smarter than your local pro?

No, you still got him.

I actually made a video for a buddy talking about the back story of my mini-dictator character where I mention you briefly. I edited out all the non-important personal stuff and names. If anyone wants it, I'll PM them the unlisted video. Just me talking about the character in my car. I won't derail this thread further by posting it here.

Can anyone tell me what problem @cav5 is trying to solve in this thread?

I mean, seriously, if you aren't routinely hitting your wedges well and close to the hole - what are you even doing on the course?

This is bush league... 🙂
