New TaylorMade Spider White Ghost

This has been released in Japan and I’m hearing it’s coming to the US soon. A white ghost version release of the classic spider shape and also a rerelease of the red spider with the sightline. Anyone have any more info on these?

Do you happen to know if the insert will be aluminum or surlyn?  Currently have a GTx with the aluminum insert, but the surlyn seems interesting to me as I'm assuming that it will be a little softer?

Hmm, I hope that isn't a paint finish. The finish on the current lineup is pretty durable relative to their prior finishes so that would surprise me, but idk from these pictures

Hopefully they fixed the finish on these. They started to look terrible so quickly.

Yeah they fixed that with the Hydroblast lineups and the latest Spider Tour lineup, but this glossy finish looks a bit like the paint i've seen in the past, like on Taylor Montgomery's white spider that he has to repaint on the regular.

Yes. Saw them at Dicks last week.

Saw them and rolled them in store today. As mentioned, they come in white and red with slant neck and face balanced options. The insert is suryln. Weights are not removable. Chrome shafts and $250 retail.

Grabbed one this AM.  As an original Ghost fanatic from 2011, this was impulse buy city.  Looks and feels great.

 

Edit- I'll probably go raw, no putter cover, too.  They just slow me down.  Give me all the bumps and bruises.

Ill say this about TM their vault program and their limited/retro releases are really great and it seems that team is really in tune with what golfers want/have wanted. No other company really does that as well as TM does.
