Basque food is the best food you can ever get, even better than Italian. The Basque are all food connoisseurs at home, the main discussion topic is always food. Rahms menu honors his background to the bones. Good for him and all the champions attending.

All teasing aside, as I said it's a great menu and personal to him and that's all that matters.  

 

I'm just sitting here laughing because when I saw turbot, I thought burbot, lol (look it up, you'll know why I was put off) and now I've looked up turbot which is supposed to be a high quality fish, for those that like to eat it.  I'd still choose the ribeye.

I was in Champagne not too long ago and the hotel we stayed at, Chateau de Sassy, had turbot on the menu one night. I thought it's France and it's Champagne, it has to be amazing! Only meal I didn't finish on that trip.

And that's a great menu. Obviously, I'd squeeze in the turbot between the tapas and the steak as a cheeky fish course because that's what gluttonscivilised people do.
