Rats, now winter is real when snow hits the home of eternal spring, Augusta National! The illusion is over, how will we ever survive?

We get maybe an inch.. every 2 years.

Mostly ice, and a few flurries every year, but this year we managed to get around 4 inches in most areas.. more in the mtns.

I'm relatively new to golf (2007) so I don't really get this. Why is it a no-no to post pictures of Augusta on-line? There was a thread awhile back where a guy got to play a round at Augusta and took some pictures. He had to take them down and I believe the whole thread was deleted.

I understand Augusta is an "institution" in the golf world, but why is it taboo to post pictures of the place? Are we to believe it is never "not perfect?" That it never snows at Augusta?

I'm not trying to upset the golf gods, I'm really just curious...

Its cool seeing it covered in snow. This has been an unusual winter weather year in the south.

The course is already back open, I saw some pics of the UGA Women's team playing there the other day.

Yeah 4 inches doesn't take more then a few days to melt. Try 3ft where I live, now that take a while.

I lived in Augusta for 10 years and snow actually accumulated twice. So, not very often. lol

Wow great picks, somone should have built a pile of snow so big it wouldn't have melted until after the masters.
