The latest irritant seems to be some mentally challenged dolt screaming ba ba booey. As I remember that is that fat slob of a producer for the all but defunct howard stern show. I thought he was an after thought by now barely working while trying to earn a few bucks on one of those moronic reality shows to support his trophy wife.

They take it serious at Augusta and if they are able to get the person yelling, they do escort them out of the crowd, take their name and badge/ticket number and depending on what they yelled, then kick them out.

The hard part is catching the guy. If the people around the guy won't point him out, the security guards are left hanging.

Older guy (50ish) today yelled something out at the putting green. The security guard (who I've known for 11 Masters) asked me if I knew who it was who yelled (the person yelling was about 15 feet from me). I heard the guy but could not see him.

I told the guard about where it came from and he asked the crowd. The guy who yelled fessed up and was told what the policy was regarding yelling out stuff at the players.

Go Bubba or Tiger is okay but any stupid remarks meant to take away attention from the tournament or distract the players gets a security guard in your face.

I guarantee you they will be watching for it even more so this weekend.

Good to hear, I'm not a stickler at all, I usually don't care what people do at all, but this yelling thing is getting annoying and is only going to get worse if something isn't done about it. I'm not looking forward to hearing ba ba booy after every shot.

It makes me want to break my tv. The fact the PGA Tour does nothing about it is shameful. It's gotten to the point that every shot, someone has to think they are the sh*t and yell something completely stupid and unoriginal. Then, some kid hears it and now the next generation is brought up thinking it's ok to do it.

It would be nice if this becomes the norm and is spread in as many ways as possible, including placing a warning on tickets, adding it to confirmation emails, etc. I know the yelling is something that must be accepted to some extent with tournaments like The Waste Management, but it's just dumb at this point. Dumb.
