I saw that this morning unfortinately if any other AE boxes show up at the house I'll be in deep trouble with my wife haha. I've been able to justify buying a new car here in the new few weeks, I don't think shoes will work too haha

I'm a big fan of the Kenneth Cole Reaction. It's a square toed, hip dress shoe. I have a pair in both brown and black and get compliments on them all the time. Comfortable too. I picked mine up at either Macy's or Nordstrom, can't remember, but I think I paid like $80 or $90 bucks for each pair. You could probably find them online for even cheaper.

When I was in sales id fly through shoes every 4 or 5 months.

So basically Nordstrom Rack and find the cheapest Steve Madens I could find.

Ill give them this. The leather is excellent... you just wear through the soles quickly doing 20 sales calls a day.

Big fan of rancourts and Alden's. I would own so many more Alden's if I didn't have to a) find a shop with a style I like and b) wait 6 months. Rancourt's ability to customize & their quick delivery are unbeatable. But I still do love my lwbs from Alden.

I've tried so hard with Allen Edmonds several times, but I just can't find a last that fits my feet well. The Wilburt-style rubber soled models seem okay in the store, but I've had several of the nice goodyear-welted leather soled models that just didn't work for me. The most sad was the pair of walnet Strands that I had to send back.

I have some nice Johnston & Murphy's that I like (black cap-toes) and a good pair of brown Florsheim Imperials that look very nice as well.

It's not always easy to find good 13EEE's.

I feel your pain. It's hard to find decent wide shoes, let alone golf shoes.

These are 11.5 eee, a pain in the arse to find size.

The Vibergs make my Indy boots look cheap. They're awesome, but the only reason I own them is because I got lucky when they released some new stock. They're really hard to get a hold of.

As for black, I'd recommend holding out for a better color to really get what you want.

That is what I wanted to hear. Trying to get a sense of how much difference there is between the alden and viberg in terms of quality of finish. I guess I should have been more specific when I linked to those. My Indy's are in the dark brown chromexcel and actually really love those black Vibergs. If I didn't already have the Indy's, I would probably go with a similar color on the Viberg's. Something I will think about for a bit regardless as its an expensive decision.
