I would like to see the satin from the CB in the AP2, and please if we are paying over a 1000, we need something other than S300. I had the original and did not purchase since with the price going up 200 and the shaft price at best 1/2 of what it was. If you are saying the better players want S300, why jack the price when everyone knows the cost is much less. No way would I pay regular price then put in KBS or Project x at the upcharge.

What I'd like to see: Satin as everyone has said. And, primarily, something to bridge the gap between the AP2 and the CB. The AP2 has a very bulky look, and could certainly feel better compared to other player's cb's. The CB is the most unforgiving non-muscle back club out there. There is little difference between it and the MB. In fact, for those who have the game for the CB, I cannot see a single reason why not to just get the MB. I would like a slimmed down AP2, or a more forgiving CB so they can compete more directly with the MP64.

I got AP2s, I can't imagine that they would upcharge depending on what iron is selected...weird.

I still play 670 mbs but I love the way Titleist does business. Revamped to a complete Titleist bag minus the wedges and love it. Product holds its value longer and Titleist doesn't hype the "added distance by decreasing the loft" like other brands. They're traditionalists and I hope they never change because I feel now I'm a Titleist "fanboy" for life.

Love this news.

The 712CB/MB is such an unbelievable iron. I've played almost all of the blades they've made in the past 15 years (still own 660s, 680s, 690.s), and performance wise the 712s just can't be beat IMO.

Here are my requests:

Satin AP line (I think this is almost guaranteed)
Make the APs easier to blend with the CB/MB
Make the AP2's an extension of the 712u. This is basically my wet dream since I hit the 712u.

Heavier heads, I play my irons .25" shorter than Titleist standard and getting their heads to SW at D4 after being cut means adding weight to the hosel.

The request is unrealistic only because every golfer cannot have their cake here. At 6'4" I play my irons at 1/2" over and 3* upright. To combat this huge gap I think all companies need to make a longer hosel with a scallop taken out on the back side so you can adjust the lie angle of the clubs +/- 5* in either direction like Ping. I also thought Taylormade was onto something when they put the weight port in their last line up MB's. Being able to dial in swing weight on an iron like that without having to muck it up with lead tape or effect the location of the sweet spot was brilliant. I can't for the life of me figure out why it seems that no one else has gone down this path. Apparently Ping does with their cavity inserts but I can't think of another company that does right now. So I guess at this point we either need ping to make the S55's 1020 forged or we need a company that makes forged irons to copy the adjustability of Ping's irons.

I would also love to see a slimmer topline on the CBs. I loved the sole of my 710cb, but I just couldn't get used to the thick topline. Hence why I went back to my 300 Forged.

I had the last set of blended Titleist - 735cm and I really liked them with MBs from 8 up. The current MBs have an alarmingly thin sole so would like to see a bit more meat on the bottom to compliment a bit less on the topline.

I also had TM irons with a hidden cavity years ago and love the idea of a set with playability but nice smooth backs like the U

Is the general consensus that the 712CB topline is too thick? I hate thick toplines but IMO the CBs transition perfectly into the MBs.
