Love seeing St Andrews pictures, the town gives you Goosebumps it's so special

 

Indeed. I've been fortunate to play a few courses with tour history including majors. Getting my first look at the old walking from the Dunvegan to the Jigger i believe my tweet of the picture of St Andrews in the fog was just 1 word. Goosebumps. It is a very special place

Forgot to mention these are from Jupiter Island Club in Florida. The prettiest property I have ever been on, (just my opinion of course).

I enjoyed it. Especially the back 9 along the lake. I liked having my choice of rental clubs too. It wasn't the sharpest TPC course I've played, and had a bit of a muni feel to it, but I'd still go back if I'm ever back that way. Everyone said the rough was cut way down and can be brutal if it's up, would love to see that.

Harding is my home course so I'm always interested in knowing what other people think of it. I see other courses and how picturesque they are and I get kind of jealous, but everyone I've played with from out of town really loves the course. I love it. Its a fun course. And they're right about the rough. I've played the course after they've had PGA events and they grow that rough nearly 4 inches high for the pros. They'll usually left it that length, but found out quick just how much it backs up play. You'd go out there and its just a bunch of people looking for their balls in the rough. Then after they do find their ball, they have to hit it out of the rough. It was brutal. But for a muni, its a great course, but $160 on a weekend is a tad steep for a muni, although us residents play for much cheaper. =P

I played it back in July, and didn't care for it. If it was $70, I'd say it was a well conditioned muni, and worth playing on occasion. However, for $160 it was way overpriced. It has few memorable holes, and practically no elevation changes. For half the price I enjoyed Presidio much, much more.

 

I honestly don't like Presidio. Just something about that course that doesn't fit my eye. I use to play it often because Harding was so hard to get on, but no I'd much rather take a short drive and play other courses besides Presidio. For me, Harding is not only convenient and for $70 on a weekend, its hard to beat. In terms of upkeep, its one of the nicer kept munis in the area.

Par 3 8th. Hit it fat to a back pin one day and made an 80+ foot putt for birdie. Longest putt I've ever holed.

 

 

 

A couple of views of the par 5 11th hole. This is my favorite hole on the golf course. So many options and possibilities.

With less than 10 (ten !) courses across the entire country, Greece is definitely not a golfing destination in itself. But quantity doesn’t mean quality, and two of them located at the stunning Costa Navarino Resort are really great courses. Below pictures show the Bay Course designed by R. Trent Jones Jr, a hillside layout overlooking Navarino Bay, one of the most scenic I have ever played.

Not as yet. It's definitely on the to do list though. Some fantastic courses here.
