No issue with me. The technology works so why not incorporate it into the cb and mc. Even having the speedslot in the mb would probably add a level of forgiveness in the long irons.

Here is the TM 2005 TP CB and the new Adams XTD 2014
The Adams has the slot in the sole.

So, you are indicating the new TP MC will also have a slot in the sole and evidently extending all the way up behind the face to give the face some flex.

If the MC has it, I bet they all have that tech in them...very, very interesting. TP fan boys may not like the it...I wonder?

I agree....it is new tech in irons along with thinner faces to provide more face flex....and distance/forgiveness. That TM really believes in this tech and is now extending it to a premium line of irons is most interesting and pushing the envelope of iron tech. What are others doing? Cally is trying with the Apex line, and Mizuno with their JPX EZ flex face; others?
Seems the days of flex face irons becoming the big deal? Gimmick?....no as it does help with distance and height (as in the SpeedBlades due to the Speed Pocket).

The SD was and is still a fantastic driver if you can hit it. IMO it wasn't hard to hit at all.

Gosh a new tp logo and a more classic look... I'm drooling!!! Was a huge fan of the old badge though, but I'm sure great things are ahead!! Need pics bad!!!!!!

The new badge is small and very reminiscent of the original TP badge. I'm positive you guys will love them. First set of TM irons I have been really excited about in forever. They have their stuff together at the moment.

I am fully aware that Vokey has made quite a bit of money selling cast wedges, as was the original Cleveland 588.

The TP line, imho, should have a forged wedge offering to go with their forged iron lineup. Nothing more, nothing less. I never said cast wedges were junk, or even alluded to that.

this is great news. Taylormade has always had the looks correct for wedges IMO but the feel was never quite the same as a forged wedge like mizunos or callaways

[/quote]Good info, this is one reason why TM has the edge over it's competitors. $899 for their players line vs the $1,100 for the ap2's or the apex. TM just may make it's way into my business travel bag this year or next.

TM will be more depending on the upgraded shafts you get. That's one of the reasons why Cally is pricing their irons so high, top shelf shafts off the rack.

So true I simply made a statement of fact. I did not trash cast wedges. If an inference was to be made its that you can make a bendable cast wedge with great design and function and somehow I'm the asshat. Now I remember why I stopped looking at this site.

Sounds like there are multiple leaks and/or insight regarding the exciting new TP line. Personally, I still play the TP MBs with the logo (2-PW) and I absolutely love them. I've had them for 6 years and they still have solid grooves and playable spin. It will be a sad day to switch. However, with the knowledge that a new TP logo line is on the brink of release, I am getting very excited.

My question is, when is the expected release of the images? This information would help so that I'm not checking this forum every 2 hours. Thank you if anyone knows this date.
