Also a few new shafts will be offered for tp line as well making for a bigger selection.
They did update their tp shaft selection not too long ago. Not sure how many they added but I do know they have added the Aldila Tour Blue/Green in both 65gr and 75gr.

Guys, like all this "insider" info. But I'm sorry, I can't really believe any of it until I see it in my hands or at least on their website. And even then, the website doesn't give all of the info.

I will say, if the release of the 430 head is mid-December AND there will be multiple TP shafts to choose from, this will make me very happy. With the release/announcement, will that expansion of TP Shafts also apply to multiple options for the Fairways & Hybrids?

D - Ping G430 LST 9, PX LE HZRDUS Black Gen 4 60 6.5TX
3W - Ping G410 14.5 (set to 15.5F), PX SB HZRDUS Smoke Green 70 6.5TX

7W - Ping G410 20.5 (set to 19.5F), PX SB HZRDUS Smoke Green 80 6.5TX

4H - Titleist TS3 25 (set to C1), PX HZRDUS Smoke Black 85  6.5

5I - PW - Titleist '19 T100, Project X 6.0 Flighted
GW, SW, LW - Vokey SM8 50F, 56S (bent to 55), 60L, DG TI S400/S200

P - Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.5
B - Titleist AVX

Is there an upcharge for the speeder tour spec 7.2 or even 7.3 for the tp sldr?
With the original sldr, from Golfsmith at least, it costs $206 OVER THE TP PRICE to put in a 7.2 tour spec. So, you could get the TP version with the "stock" speeder TS 6.3 for $500, but it would be $706 for the 7.2 Based on that, I would not anticipate the 7.2 or 7.3 all of a sudden being no upcharge, but who knows.

Not sure for the driver at this point but the 8.3 ts and 9.3 ts are stock offerings in the fairway and hybrid. My assumption is the 7.3 ts can be selected as well for no additional charge in the SLDR line...

At least for the current SLDR line, this assumption is incorrect. TMAG doesn't even offer the 7.3 as a "custom option" shaft on their website. Therefore, if that's the shaft you want, you would probably have to get it independently (and thus get little or no discount). Also, remember that the 6.3, 8.3, and 9.3 are the stock TMAG graphics TP shafts. THESE are where you can get good value buying TP. Just because a 7.3 on the open market would be the same price as an 8.3, does mean that a "real deal Fuji graphics" 7.3 (which is what it would have to be) could be freely substituted for the TMAG graphics 8.3. Finally, just to be clear, I am not trying to get into the whole "read deal/OEM graphics" shaft debate. I believe that the factory graphics TP shafts are the same as the OEM graphics shafts, but, the fact remains that the TMAG graphics TP shafts go a lot cheaper relatively then the identical Fuji graphics shaft.

The 430's cg has been moved even closer the face if that answers your questions. And I am not 100% sure but I heard mid Dec for the 430.
I am hearing 12/13/13 for the 430cc release date. Bad news though, the TP logo will most likely not be on the retail production model. Same deal as the TP irons.

The head that I took a pic of was not stamped with a "T" Not sure if that matters though.

Per my spec sheet for 2014 these will be on the tp options list as well as the 7.3. Things always could change but I am basing this off of the info I have at the moment.

Didn't know you had a spec sheet... Would love to get more info if you have it. For one, What are the "stock" tp options for the 430? In other words, what shafts can you get for just the standard tp upgrade price?

Wait, so with a lighter smaller head, I know the workability will be greater with the TP version, but how will this likely affect spin rates?

This is what I don't get. It seems like 95% of GolfWrx is constantly clamoring for a "smaller, more workable, players driver" from TM and all other manufacturers. Yet, at the same time 95% of GolfWrx is looking for the newest, longest driver with low spin rates. However, lower spin rates = LESS workabilitly. Unless I'm missing something.
With TM, they always want the opposite of what comes out from TM. These are more the haters of course. They screamed at TM for V2 smaller head because the Tours played em and when TM came out with one, it was old news instantly. It's just the way it's been for a long time. The 430 SLDR TP is just the same mold as the R11 head with a different "technology" to it and a TP logo. TM has been tinkering with the same molds of many items (SW's Irons, FW's, and drivers) for years.

I'm not sure. I almost got one for my 5 wood on eBay. But I would think it perform very similar in spin and launch but just a little heavier with better feel.

I don't have any specs on it but I can tell you this, it feels much better than the 7.2. I have a 7.2 in my 3 and 5 and hit the new 8.3 in the SLDR 3 and 5 and its much more smoother feeling with pretty similar performance on a flightscope. Now my tempo is on the medium side so I couldn't tell you how this will translate to someone with a quicker tempo or a slow tempo.

In theory the 430 could be lower spin??? The D3 913 is lower spin than its larger brother the D2
