When ordering, does one have to specify taper or parallel? (or what would you get if you don't specify)? Reason for asking is that I intend to order the clubs (CB 5-7 and MC 8-PW) with one of the stock shaft options and during the time I'm waiting, order a set of Aerotech Steelfiber shafts (i80) from the US. The clubs will take about 10 days from order (bent and shipped from the UK or Holland) to delivery which is about the same time for the shafts from the US to Sweden. Then I can get the shafts installed the next day.

Standard tip is the 0.355 taper tip. If you want a parallel tip 0.370 you will need to specify that in the order.
You can buy Steelfiber i80cw (constant weight) and they are 0.355 taper tip!

Thanks BB - much appreciated. Steelfibers seem to be available at Ebay @ $ 43.- each. Cheaper than golfworks and golfsmith at least. Moths will be flying out of my wallet….

I was thinking of a combo set of MC's and MB's, but i decided to go 3-P MC. I did this because i was thinking about the rounds where i lost maybe 1 stroke because of a miss hit MB. When i got to test the MC's at the sony open i realized how forgiving they were while still having a forged feel.

[/quote]Very Nice! Love my ATV 54, 56, and 60 albeit the new Nike VR 60 TS (Toe Sweep) took the 60 spot upon testing and reviewing it. The ATV's are super easy to hit, forgiving, and accurate and if theses prove even better then watchout. There is definately going to be a Nike vs.Taylormade shootout when these are released.

After seeing these irons in person for the first time, I think the perfect set woudl be 3-4 CB and 5-PW MC. I hit 7 irons in all 3 models (into a net) and the feel was virtually the same. I will say that once you get into the higher # irons with the CB's, the offset started to really stand out which isn't for me.

Also hit the ap2's and s55's which are great.

I ordered them last week thursday but i requested custom shafts so they shipped this week. So it took them maybe 4 days to fly them to hawaii.

I kinda wish I went CB 6 iron and maybe even 7. I love my MCs but the CBs are really easy to hit and I hardly notice any difference in look or feel between the two. TM really did a great job with these clubs.

I felt the same way with the CBs and MCs when it demoed the different irons. I really enjoyed the MB all the way through the set but I was honest with myself and being someone who plays in any weather and not the most consistent striker, I went with the CBs in the long irons. I might end up getting the MB 3-7 after if I get more confident with my striking.

This is not a joke, but I was ready to place my order for a SLDR hybrid and TP CB's but because I wasn't able to choose custom options I went out in search of things to hit and fell in love with i25's and they will now be ordered this week.

I was really bummed by this too because I've been waiting for the local TM Performance Lab to get the fitting heads in and they finally did this week. So I go in, do my fitting and find my specs hoping to place my order yesterday so I can have the clubs for my trip in two weeks. If I'm lucky I will have the clubs by the time I get back. Very disappointed that they would unveil this new line and then leave the people that want them hanging.

You both do you realize there are multiple outlets to order from besides the shopping cart option on the website? You can call them direct, you could contact them through email, or you could even place a custom order through a retailer like GS or PGASS. The website going down is really going to make you completely change your $1000+ purchase? Smh...

Even places like golfsmith and PGASS can't order anything custom. Plus the shipping department is closed down on 28th for a week as well. So unless you want of the rack set you have to wait until Feb 2nd. I got my order in just in time!
