I found the MCs very solid and easy to hit. they felt super smooth for the shorter irons and very solid for the long irons. I think someone else already wrote this before but the mcs are the irons that are worth taking a look at. a true players iron that doesnt lack the forgiveness in the long irons. I myself liked them alot and was thinking about getting a combo set but i am more of a mb type player and thats not going to change.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the two models that are out. I hit the CB and it was ugly, it looks like shovels. I couldn't even look down at it. Then tried the MC and couldn't stand the speed spot and non-forged long irons. Plus you could see the backing when you set them down, very clunky! Has anyone noticed how the hosel inserts into the head, its bad! Compare this to a players MC (Mizzy irons) and you will notice the difference. The only one I haven't seen is the MB, which I'm curious to try with a C-taper plus its completely forged. Again, just my 2 cents and not a TM hater as I still use my original MC irons for past 4 years.

nice. im getting 3-9 in the mb and a 3 iron mc which i will bend to 2 iron loft as they dont offer 2 irons... looking forward to this year

Not hollow at all. Feel really solid at impact. Feel nice and solid at address and spin numbers are waaay down over my old r9 tp's. I saw distance gains of around 10-12 yds per club but will need to spend more time out on course with them to judge if the golf stores launch monitor wasn't just jacked up!

I honestly dont see how you can think the new MC's are clunky looking compared to the original MC's but like others have said, to each his own

Hated to do it but I had to switch to Titleist irons. I just couldn't get over having different materials etc. in one set of irons. I wasn't a huge fan of the look in person but that I could've gotten used to.

Thanks for the reviews. Looking forward to more comparisons regarding feel, distance, trajectory, etc.

I decided on the Vr pro combos a few months back and my only knock is shorter distances which I understand without the stronger lofts. Other than some yards, the irons are perfect.

TMAG has my attention with the speed pocket and the ability to hit a strong lofted club high. All that was missing was looks and they got that figured out. Definite advantage hitting one to two less clubs into the green so long as there are no "hot spots" with the irons and distances are consistent. Look forward to reading more thoughts as you guys play these clubs! Damn OEM's, it's gonna be a hard year to keep the ho in check!!!

For anyone on the fence about the MB irons and especially those considering the mizzy mp-4 vs the TM MB, I had the mp-4s and just got my set of TM MB 4-PW and they are butter. Plus the satin finish looks much better to me than the chrome on the mizunos. I'd say go with the TM they got

This is just the info that seems to be [i]lacking[/i] on this giant thread. I can't wait until there are more (with details) side-by-side comparisons of these TM MBs to your old MP-4s. Also, let's hear the comparisons to:
Nike VR Pros, Titleist 714 MBs, Callaway Razr MBs, Mizuno MP-69s, Wilson FG-62, and Clevelands MBs.

I LOVED the MBs! I was hitting them great at The Kingdom. I would love to go 3-PW MB, but I was very warmed up and it was great conditions and being honest to myself I know I would hurt my game my going straight MBs. I also seem to have gone a little off the beaten path and chose the CBs over the MCs. The CBs felt awesome and I honestly couldn't tell the difference feeling wise between the MC and CB long irons so I went with the more forgiving CB 3-7 and straight to MB 8-PW. I can't wait to try them out

You guys with combo sets...what are you doing between sets to get good gaps? I was advised not to tweak the two types (CB and MC) independently, but there's quite a gap then between the 6 CB and 7 MC then. I hesitantly took that advice when I ordered, but I also have an MR3 at home, so I can tweak if I need to.

Those getting combo sets need to watch the video.
CB 7 iron - 172 avg. 32.5* loft
MC 7 iron - 168 avg. 34* loft (he said MB...video shows MC @ 168 yds?)
Peak height was the same!

That should answer the question....don't adjust, TM has done a great job of getting the distances close for the different models.

I have a combo set of CB(3-5), MC(6-8), MB(9,P) that will be here tomorrow. I did not specify any adjustments to lofts.
I will hit these and THEN determine if that is needed. If it is it will most likely be in the longer end by increasing the loft by 1*. I may also make the 9, P strong by 1*. BUT I will wait to see after hitting them. Of course, I have a bending machine which will make it easy for me.

Since the 3 iron has 0* of bounce (MB has 0* also), adding 1* is meaningless and will reduce the offset as well (may leave the 3 iron as is); the 4 iron has 0.6* bounce (MB has 1*) and that will make it 1.6*...meaningless and be less offset; finally the 5 iron has 2* bounce (MB has 2.3*) and that will make it 3* and also less offset........ Perfect.

1* strong in the 7-PW MC irons.
Standard in the 3-6 CB irons.

I always like to take loft away rather then add it and add bounce. I'm no digger, I don't need any more bounce. Also I like to flight my short irons and keep them low, so a strong loft with help me in that aspect as well.

Just picked up my CB's. Thought about MC's, but after hitting the CB's went with them. They are the money, look good and perform great. Will post more when i have played a round with them.

After 2 range session and playing 18 today, I'm going to strengthen the loft only in the MC 6 & 7 irons (by 1*) and keeping my CB 4 & 5 irons standard. I was originally thinking that I would have to weaken my CB lofts but I love the flight and distance I'm getting from the CBs. For some reason I'm hitting the 6 & 7 really high and the gap between the 8, 7 and 6 is too close. For reference I have a mixed set with CB 4 & 5 and MC 6-PW.

Coming from a set of MP 59s these irons are giving me some extra confidence (especially in the 6-4 irons) and I love the lighter feel of the KBS Tour shafts. The ball also seems to hold its line more on bad shots (with that said, you make a really bad swing and it shows).

Overall really happy with the purchase and I think TM did a great job with the clubs.
