black and lime green looks cool. as does black and orange. BUT i absolutely must have one of the Longhorn colorway grips!!!!

Wood, prototype, I could see someone just wanting to use that, hah. Good review by Kadin, I've held a superstroke, but never putted with one. I'd always been interested how they might help.

Kadin mentioned it separates the hands to make a more shoulder based stroke; would that be good for arc strokes AND straight stroke putting?

April 2014?!? What in gods green earth is taking so long for them to produce some grips and sell them to the public?? We've been hearing about these grips for what seems like forever and Speith had one a year ago. It seems like they put all their energy into "prototype" and "tour only" grips instead. I mean c'mon now, even GRIPS are "tour only" and we can't buy the same thing we see the tour guys play?

I just don't understand what takes SO long... but I'll def try out an Ultra if they ever do become available to us regular folk.

No black + red accents? I would have thought that one would be the bread and butter matching most putters out there, titleist (SC), odyssey (WHP, Versa) and TM.

I will say that the people at SS are doing a fine job growing the company currently.

Better for anyone that has some issues releasing thru the ball too much, however it is released. Size is the big thing, make sure you can see them all before buying.

I've wanted a claw grip ever since I first saw them on this site... the orange and lime protos look great and i hope they make it to retail soon. also, is it me or do the protos look tapered a little bit?

I was thinking the same thing. I would consider using it if it was all black. I know these perform but I just dont like the look of all the wild colors.

Thanks OP for posting the pictures, I'm an owner and have been happy with the product(durability aside) but I must say:


Doing a fine job growing the company???


Why is the flatso ultra taking so long to come to retail?
Why do they continue to offer/tease tour only color options that never come to retail?
Why no all black version?
Why are they always sold out or out of stock (I realize demand is high, but "C'MON MAN!")?
Are they made in China, is this the cause of delay's?

I realize this is nit picking/venting, but obviously I'm not the only who is frustrated.

Congrats on the initial/launch strategy, but it would appear it may be time to adjust to fit the current demand/requests of your products by loyal customers. Just saying...

Remember the little guys who actually BUY your product please.

I am gonna have to agree with this as well. I mean I know they like to advertise but for us who don't like wild billboards on our putter grips a simple all black grip would be great!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I believe Jordan uses the Flatso Ultra, just a different color mix, because when he started using it it was just a prototype. I like the new colors. I wonder if they would consider custom making a grip for a D3 team?

I believe they are doing D1 teams, but you have to actually be on that college team to get the grip. I might end up emailing the company asking if they could make a grip for the D3 school I play for.
