I was told that the Jones Utility Stand bag 2.0 will be released later in season with upgrades worth waiting for including a larger opening. Sounds like Jones has listened and paid attention to the comments being made on the Utility.. I believe I will be holding out for the utility 2.0.

All of the Utility Bags are available for Pre-Order (Avail July 15th) on their site. Not sure if that is the 2.0

Edit: Looks like that is just the Charcoal & Navy colors. False alarm

Strange... They only had the Greyson up a couple days ago. Seems strange to restock a bunch of colors if a 2.0 is coming anytime soon... Must be a ways away.

I believe that they will be keeping the original utility in stock when the 2.0 comes out. They are likely two different bags not just a larger version of the current bag.

So what you’re saying is I will have to buy a third new golf bag this year, haha. Bought the original Utility and love the design and concept but it’s just a little small and the strap setup isn’t quite perfect for me. If they fix those two things I’ll have to buy the 2.0 version.

I am under the same understanding that both bags will be offered in the line-up.

I love my Original, but it really sucks on a pushcart (usable/decent on a regular cart)... Hoping the 2.0 is perfect for a pushcart, and those rounds when I'm definitely not walking & carrying.

Just finished up the first walking 9 with the players bag.

I really prefer the inner support, much better than the original.

My family tartan seamus headcovers are on point as well.

If you add an Umbrella to the bag it works better on a push cart, well at least it does for me.

How dare you try to talk me out of a new bag 😜

But seriously though, it has more to do with the base of the a Jones being too short at the bottom and the pushcart bungie cord riding up the bag and turning into an anaconda.

Just received my bag and headcovers from Fire and Rose. It looks like I will just be enjoying a monthly simulator and putting in my house until I go to Myrtle Beach in 87 days35f031c9c63e7688fbd4e0648b1478fc.jpg82aa03ded123b94db3229f0570e23785.jpgdc1f2e13eab5b7a60a7eb35f2f8fd5b6.jpg

I know this is old, but did no one point out the fact that you brought your clubs into the bathroom to take pictures? LOL

Yeah, this looks like you were shamefully hiding the activity of taking pictures of your golf equipment from your SO. The sooner she learns about your condition, the better, brotha. You are not alone. image/friends.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':friends:' />

Has anyone with the Utility stand bag had trouble with clubs getting stuck? Sometimes when setting the bag down and/or picking it up something in the base seems to be pinching the end of a grip and the club sticks. Take a good tug to free it.

Jones here in Australia had 50% off everything on their website so I pulled the trigger on a Utility bag.

I've been looking EVERYWHERE to no avail for a Jones Utility Stand Bag in tobacco brown or pacific blue. Literally nowhere to be found. Please message me if you have one you'd like to part with.

I was very disappointed to see them discontinue the Tobacco Brown. The second one in a row I let slip through my fingers. I liked it better than the Greyson. I would love to find another.

Picked up a Navy/White Original today. Fortunately, the Canadian distributor of Jones has a few proshops & a GT location here in the GTA that I was able to go eyeball them. I would have probably pulled the trigger online either way, but seeing them in the flesh and having the opportunity to load up some clubs and stuff really sold me.

I had been passively looking for another bag for a potential back-up set/extra clubs, as well as giving me a carry option (Had been using a cart bag/pushcart combo) that my old Titleist Sunday bag couldn't provide (smaller, less/no storage, uncomfortable carry). This year, also having a season's pass allows me much more freedom for a quick casual round after work, not worrying about setting up the cart/cart bag, which to me is mostly unnecessary except for the couple competitive tournaments I play a year.

My one concern was club tangling, given that I've now been playing oversize grips, but I was able to load/unload clubs without much a problem. And TBH, that's some of the give and take with a minimalist setup (which is RIDICULOUSLY light, almost shockingly so!_ Along with the supremely comfortable strap and the way the bag is balanced, I am very much looking forward to heading out there a lot with it moving forward (as Jones puts it, simplify). Also, judging by the beautiful setups in this thread, I may have to treat myself to some Seamus gear as well....

Ha ok cool. I got the Blue Utility bag with my initials in red and it looks awesome. I would get my name on a rider bag in the brush script if i were to buy...wanted to see if that was a hacker/tool look on the course haha glad i have company!

    lets see some pictures!

You can't really make out the embroidery, but attached is the only pic I have on my phone.
