Rogue hybrid = awesome!

Hit the driver, FW and Hybrid today. Gotta say, the Hybrid was the star of the show! I was hitting a 3H with the stock stiff shaft and the numbers were crazy for me with a 220-230 carry (my typical 3W distance off the deck) with tight dispersion. Definitely further than my Apex 3H. FWIW My driver SS is 102–105.

Hit about 20 balls with it and they just wanted to go straight. Minor loss of distance on mis hits, but not they still went straight. I know it’s a small sample size but I was extremely impressed. I’ll be looking for a lightly used one to replace my Apex...

My golf shop owner was very stoked about the Rogue hybrid when he visited Callaway. He said the same as the OP; the hybrid is special and the fairway not far behind. I was looking to purchase an Epic hybrid and he told me to go for the Rogue instead. I plan to hit it on Sunday.

Why can't someone make a 3 hybrid that goes the distance of a 3 iron but higher launch? Isn't that the purpose?

Do I now have to buy a 5 hybrid for 3 iron distance?

I'll have to try it...

THANK YOU!!! Unless you're looking for a hybrid to replace a fairway metal, there is no reason to look for the "longest" hybrid. In today's golf world, most hybrids are a replacement for a long iron. With that said, the proper spacing (and probable distance the shot will travel) of the hybrid to your iron set is more important. Case in point; I was interested in a certain hybrid that WRX followers were pretty high on. Then came the next generation of hybrids that were a club longer than the ones they were high on and they touted it as the best due to its distance. What?? I will say that if you find a hybrid that is LONG, it isn't bad, but be sure to "loft up" when buying it. Good discussion and thanks for the post.

I'm struggling to get a 3h that works for me just now after years of having an X2 Pro do the job well, this one is something i'd like to get a better feel for, but can't seem to find any demo's, so may have to buy to try unfortunately, anyone got a decent summary of it so far, from what i've seen in the shops it looks like it has a bit of offset, so does it go left a bit, how does the stiff synergy shaft feel as well?

PGA Superstore here carries the Epic Star lineup. I wonder if they’ll carry the Rogue Star products?

Wowza! a 5 hybrid now has 23* loft. I've never been one to get in the whole jacked loft debate, but where is it going to end?

It ends with 13 drivers and a putter in the bag...duh

What is the highest and lowest log of these drivers? Are they all 460cc? Single length drivers or VL?

Walked into Golf Galaxy today to buy a few grips, and walked out with a "used" Rogue 3H for $150. I'm pretty certain I'm the first person to ever hit it. No idea what it was doing there, but I couldn't pass it up.

Their sim is crap, but I hit 10 effortless bombs. Really hoping that carries over to the course.
