You can order them through several companies. I work for Luxottica so really all you have to do is go into Lenscrafters and pick out the frame and tell them you wanna order the dark golf lenses.

Can you elaborate? Who else besides LensCrafters? Any authorized Oakley retailer?

I had to switch back to the regular Prizm Golf. The Dark cut a little too much light for my liking.

Well prescription lens wise it’s only gonna be a place like lenscrafters that can do that. Oakley retailers often can only order what’s stock online. If you go to Lenscrafters they’ll be able to order any frame with any lens you want.

What do you mean? I figured dark would make everything darker relative to the non-dark golf?

They cut too much light = they're too dark

I have Prizm Black lenses in a set of Oakley Sliver’s. They aren’t golf specific, but the Prizm technology is there. They are great for bright days, and are way better than standard black iridium lenses on the course.

You guys that think the normal is too light wear a hat?

Longtime prism golf user, I wear hats and do not have issues with brightness. I could see someone who does not wear a hat needing a darker lens or just personal preference.

The dark prizm is a great lense but just not dark enough for my typical playing conditions. I'm in TX and typically play in full sun. I could definitely use them early morning and at dusk but for now I've gone back to my Gray lense Radars.

This summer, if cloudy I wear Callaway SOLFX (no longer sold), if sunny Smith Chromapop Ignitor photochromic. Smith's are polarized but that hasn't bothered me, they make the world beautiful. Winter golf goes to the Callaway's.

Not totally on topic, but I cant believe how many people play WITHOUT sunglasses to protect their eyes. I dont even like walking from the clubhouse to my car without my Oakleys

I've got both of the lenses. Really prefer the dark in ultra sunny conditions but notice more imperfections in the grass with the regular golfs. If I had to only have one it would be the dark golf because well they are "sun" glasses. Also not a huge fan of how much of the eyes you can see when looking into the regular golfs. If this was equal, it would be a toss up.

Last year, I bought the replacement dark prizm lenses for my Flak Draft glasses (which came with the original prizm golf lenses). Although I like the look of the dark lenses better, I prefer to play using the original lenses. I think that I see things better with them. If I were wearing them off the golf course, I would prefer the dark lenses. But, since I really don't like how they look, the Oakleys go back into my bag at the end of the round and on go my Maui Jim's for the drive home.

Now that the Golf Prizm Dark lens has been out for a while, what is the consensus?

I have been playing golf for the last 20 years, and have NEVER been able to wear sunglasses on the course. I’ve tried many times, but have always taken them off. I just can’t get used to them. I’ve never had an actual pair of “Golf” glasses though. I’m mainly talking Ray Ban Wayfarers, as I wear them EVERY day off the course.

Im really contemplating buying a pair of the TargetLines with the Prizm Dark lenses in them.

For those that have these lenses, would you recommend them? If I buy these, they would more than likely be my every day glasses as well.

I play golf in ALL weather types.

You really just have to force it for a few rounds until you get used to it. Once you adjust to wearing sunglasses for golf it's tough to go without. I like Oakley golf Prizm and Rudy Project laser purple. Full UV protection and you actually see better
