Push / Pull Cart insane prices?

I was trying to buy a push/pull cart either a bagboy or clicgear, both of them are out of stock on every website, so I went on my trusty Ebay and started googling...One pull/push cart that was supposed to be 250$ brand new sell for 400-500$....any idea where I can find one at normal price or so?

There's another similar thread with some suggestions, but right now there aren't many good options. Best bet might be finding a course or store that has been closed for a while and catch them soon after reopening.

I ordered an Axglo Flip 'n Go four wheel cart from Niagara Golf Warehouse in Canada. $186.99 USD. I haven't received it yet, ordered it on the 7th, so I have no review to offer.

Reach out to Bagboy on Facebook. They were able to guide me to a couple of retailers that still had some in stock at a normal price. None of the retailers had an online presence which probably helped the cause. I don't have any of the places handy but they probably can help you.

Jarederco, I think I’m one of the lucky ones to score a cart, thanks for the tip. Suppose to be delivered Saturday. The cart was not even on their web site when I bought it (it is now), only thru your link. How did you know?

I am new to the site, so please bear with me on posting format. I have spent the better part of the day looking for a push cart and everywhere is sold out online. Is there a reason that this happens? Does it happen every year?

Does not normally happen. It is only happening now since lots of courses are now walking only due to the health concerns of the virus.

Many courses are ordering walking carts by the dozens as rentals. Even the expensive ($2500) Stewart X9 is sold out. I was told high end courses are ordering them, again, by the dozens for rentals to members.

As soon as the health restrictions are eliminated you may very well see a glut of used carts at cheap prices!

I'm taking a chance on the Walker Trolley. Definitely not cheap, but if you got in on the kick starter it wasn't terrible either. Taking a chance on the quality and potential customer support issues for something un proven. If their timelines are correct should receive something by the end of June. I expect we will see a glut of push carts once things open back up and more places allow riding as well, so if one can hold out for that, there will be deals to be had on craigslist.

I’m all for capitalism but these carts wouldn’t be selling for twice their normal value without a national emergency happening. It’s not like the cart manufacturers are jacking the price.

lol.... my golf buddies commented that the Stewart X9 follow that I bought last year is worth it's weight in gold now.

Still don't think it's worth close to $3000 especially with the worthless accessories but it is dang nice.

Many of the courses around here are carts in the early morning, then no carts again until late afternoon, walking in between. Everyone has to ride single so there's a shortage of carts.

I have one similar to the Tour Trek that I bought at Dick's a few years ago for $28. Now it's $75????? Still works like a charm and don't see any need to pay $200 for a fancy cart. (and mine also has a drink holder) TourTrek 2018 2-Wheel Push Cart

I wouldn't be surprised if the brand new carts that suddenly pop up on the bay when no one has any inventory are the manufacturers trying to make an extra profit and I don't blame them. People will pay it so that's what it sells for. I've seen people ask for too much and it sits and then they drop to a more reasonable price and someone pays it both on offer up and the bay. In a month it'll go back down.

If you "pre-order" the Stewart X9 follow you should have it in about 2-3 weeks. Mine came in in less then 10 days. And that was only 2 weeks ago. Shipments coming in are sold out. But shipments have been coming in every 2 weeks or so. So your shipment after a preorder is second in line.

The Stewarts are expensive but they are worth every penny. My wife made me buy the X9 insead of the less expensive CaddyTrek R2. I walk at least 3 18 hole rounds a week so it gets used a lot.

I know the electric carts are also in short supply, but rather than paying a way jacked up price for a simple push cart instead put that money toward an electric. Once you have one you'll wonder why you didn't get one sooner.
