Isawa series may be the new Devotion's? Seem cheaper than the Kiyoshi. Wonder what bend profile teh Kiyoshi yellow is? Thought they had them all covered.

The Isawa is a different profile shaft with a more active tip. Meant for a higher launch and more mid-spin, even in the heavier weights. Awesome that it's at the Devotion price point though! But I can't see the Devotion going away...just too good of a shaft, especially for the price.

That being said, the only Isawa I've seen has been Red, so maybe these are something completely different (or Oban is just having fun with colors)...should be fun to hear exactly what's up.

>when will the GD DI be redesigned? such a solid shaft for a long time...
>when will there be a FUJI .2/.3TS line replacement?
>anything new or booths from MRC or ALDILA?

very good question swanry.
had the same in mind a few days ago and discussed it with a friend. we both found no solution...the DI just performs so well for so many players - even nowadays. I guess graphite design is suprised too how long this shaft kept up (and still is) with newer ones. and why give up a cash cow?
let's see what the time will bring...

"Had 4 specialized paint/coating combinations targeted for future shaft projects"

Nothing new on the immediate horizon, nor any new shaft profiles (just some gnarly paint jobs to get us excited)

They do look fantastic!

They WILL be new profiles... But for show purposes it was just paint schemes - just not immediate releases
