And not on one of the Meanie days.

I got to agree with Rich, There are really one mr 59's and thats Al. Like one Miss, and thats Annika(or was it Mrs at the time?). The english mile might have been done with like half a minute faster now but the honors are all Roger Bannister's.

But actually, I hate that. Seeing celebs IRL, like. Celeb golfers not on the golf course. I travelled for work quite a lot in the 90:s around europe and you would see a Woosie, Laura or a Monty here and there in lounges and bars. Laura more often in bars. Always got me a bit upset. My father is not so shy, ended up beside Jerry Pate on a transatlantic flight sometime in the 90's and actually ended up understanding what his son was fiddling around with, that golf thing. One really easy guy to talk to, reportedly.

There's only 1 Mr 59 and that's Al Geiberger.

Adam Hadwin has shown on a few occasions that when he gets hot the ball goes in the hole with great frequency. Some guys can seize the moment while others just can't handle it. I marvel at guys that can make 6, 7 birdies in a row, and then make another run of 3 or 4.

Jerry Pate had a reputation for being a nonstop talker. He was one of my favorites in the mid/late 1970s. Shame he had the injuries with his neck & shoulder, beautiful swing.

Wow, Adam Hadwin looks really young despite the beard.

What course?

Shaughnessy .....he's friends with one of the pros Tim. We've hosted a few PGA events.....most recently 2011 which was won by Sean O'Hair.

Hadwin is out of Ledgeview which is in Abbotsford about an hour away. Same with Nick Taylor and a few others including James Lepp who won the NCAA and then appeared on Big Break.

Yeah and slim. Makes me feel old and fat. He's quite diminutive but I still probably should have skipped the wings.
