What is that MC putter shaft?

Originally released last summer in Japan, it's made from a rubber composite material to reduce shock and vibrations, as well as their metal composite graphite material used in their iron and some wood shafts. Supposed to help off center strikes roll the ball closer to the hole. Two types available are Hard and Soft, which I refers to the feeling of the shafts. MSRP is $200 which leaves me wondering if there is a huge market for it at that price point. Specs are available here.

14 Beaten and Battered clubs,

a few balls and tees,

tattered golf bag and

one unwavering spirit that loves the game

Miura's trying too hard. What was that, about a dozen different heads?

try half dozen.

Thats right seems to be 4 "Miura" branded and 2 "Miura Giken" Branded irons, representing the Japanese, Taiwanese & China made clubs of Miura.

Of course we all know that Miura branded clubs are for the non-JDM markets and are a variation of the Miura Giken versions.

+1. Its super cool, it really makes a difference in feel. It's like adding an insert to a putter how it dampens noise and vibration. We carry them here in US on special order. Give us a ring for more info and availability.

I'm really on the fence about those new Vokey's. On the one hand, that Jet Black paintless version looks incredible. On the other hand, they also look really bulbous from the back (similar Mizuno S18), which I am not a fan of. I'm not liking these trends towards the higher toe. I know it's supposed to help with bunker and flop shot play but it just looks awkward, in my opinion.

Miura is losing it's tradition. Having to resort to gimmicky designs like that Klingon MB. The Genesis is hideous.

Memo to Miura: stay with traditional forgings please.

The Yonex forged irons are just absolutely gorgeous. Wish there were more ways to try them out. Anyone know of a place in NorCal? I might just have to call every official retailer on the list on Yonex's website!

I still have a Yonex 5 wood from a couple of years ago that can't be kicked out of my bag. Will probably replace it soon with one of their new offerings :)

I have to agree.... The latest stuff is not appealing at all. The Passing Point line, CB 1957 , Blades and some of the MG older stuff always looked fantastic.
