Does anyone know how I can watch the special that Golf Channel did on the fitting of Tiger Woods with Taylormade? Can't seem to find the full video. Only little clips on Golf Channel website.

It was definitely a cool little doc on the insights of his equipment. Little bit of a TM promo, but I loved all the gear head details to it.

I didn't realize that Mike Taylor was involved in the crafting of Tiger's new irons, but it is not surprising that they look exactly like the VR Pros with a TM badge instead of a swoosh. The milling is new, though, and looks pretty cool.

It was a decent show, wish they would have gone more into the details with the data. What launch windows? What swingweights? How were each iteration of clubheads slightly different? sorry, enginerd here, I like details.

Involved ? Lol. Instrumental is accurate. TM is a master marketing machine. No doubt. They didn’t make tiger a set of irons in the sense of design , or finishing. Take a look at tiger what in the bag in the tour and pre release section from pebble beach. The soles are still hand finished. Maybe a faint outline of a milling mark on the 8 iron. But 99.9% smooth. The irons they are selling the public are Taylormade. Tigers irons are MT made.

Neither of those pics looks like the retail irons milling. That’s hi-res closeups and they look very faint. Certainly been hand worked after milling. Which is after all. All I said.

I thought good Chanel bought TM ????? Gary Williams and Damon Hack each cashes in their 401ks and after penalties had enough to buy them and a del taco .. ( Gary wanted to be boss of something ).

Possible, but I will say it is possible to do that on a mill, it's just a much longer process. So for retail I can see them not doing that

Yep, but it's still incredibly interesting hearing some of the inner golf workings of Tiger.
