What's your formula to avoid chafing down under?

I play where it is hot and humid. Worst is when it rains a bit, then sun comes out. I typically wear Adidas boxer briefs which are like compression underwear, keep me as dry as possible and tight. Using lightweight, quick drying shorts. Will use gold bond powder but that does not seem to last long. What other methods to help avoid the chafing when playing lots of golf in hot humid, wet conditions?

Most often repeated chafing is caused by underlying jock itch. When that happens keep dry and buy some cream and use it religiously. Long after the redness and cracking is gone. If that doesn’t work get a steroid cream. The steroid will take the heat out but prolong the nasties. This crap can last forever if you don’t take it on. I battled this shiite all summer about 4yrs ago and it sucked!

I’ve not found a powder that does anything but keep your junk fresh around the house. I might have to order that Nuts Pro for a rainy day! I bet that juice has the goods.

+1 for the gold bond spray, that stuff does wonders. I found out the big thing for me is underwear material. I recently purchased Duluth Trading Company underwear and it’s phenomenal, I’ll never buy a different pair of underwear.

If you're looking for a powder, Gold bond with menthol. Green bottle. Only powder I have found that works.

just use normal antiperspirant deodorant. i use old spice and a quick glide in the crouch crease will get the job done just fine.

I play and walk often in summer in Texas. Hanes x temp underwear seem to prevent any issues I ever had with cotton underwear.

I used to use the powders (baby powder, gold bond, monkey butt etc). I then found Fresh Balls. It goes on as a cream but drys like a powder. Way easier to get it in the right spots. It works way better then anything I have ever tried!
