Minimal off-set Utility Iron

I am looking for suggestions for some utility irons that have little offset???

I currently have a T-MB 2-iron that is great but I just really don't like off-set clubs, and am interested to see if there is anything out there I may like more.

U500 is worth a look. They've really reduced the amount of offset in the lineup.

Agree on u500. Have the 2i and it transitions really well from my iron set.

Its a tough one, cause part of the reason the offset is there is to make them more playable. But you would not like the crossover G410 I use, which is super easy to hit and long, but you might wanna check out the Cobra Black utility, I didnt think the offset was too bad on that one. The feel is great on the Cobra and very easy to hit. Have you checked the Mizuno MP-18 flihi or the new model?

I will saw, however, that the Srixon U65 was the most played utility on the PGA tour for a while and even that has a bit of offset. I don't love offset either but when you're in the 16-18 degree range it is really helping you more than hurting you.

 

The P790 UDI is also not bad in that department either

U500 has less offset than a lot of blades on the market.

U-500 for sure, as others have said. It has the least offset of any long iron/utility I’ve ever seen. I bought all three of them and love them. U-510 not so much.

u500 has the least offset, but I think 790 UDI has the smallest look at address. I hit both extensively head to head before settling on the 790. Could have gone either way honestly but im more of a TM guy

Another for the Srixon U85, very minimal offset and this things only wants to rip dead straight bullets.

I play 718mbs and the U500 3-iron flows really well with the set. Looks great, imo.

U500 and P790 UDI are about the only ones you will find with less offset than the T-MB.

The T-MB is fairly low offset for a 2i, but I hate offset too and feel you. I play 3-6 T-MB for reference. I’m shocked I can stomach the U510, but it performs so it’s staying

If you want similar sound/feel/performance try the U500. People certainly love the UDI, but I’ve not gotten along with it the two times I’ve had it. The T-MB 2 had better flight, and even that has now lost to a U510 1-iron
