You all missed my point. I'm saying that no way in hell does a poser use ion covers. It is a well known fact that iron covers are the calling card of the chopper, but that wasn't the crux of my post.

Plus Fours = 4" below the knee
Knickers = Ladies underwear

I was going to say plus 4's but figured most people know them by the more "americanized" name of knickers. At least I didn't say anything about them feeling great while sitting on my fanny... means a WHOLE different thing than in the US.

If I ever end up on the course in "long pants" that is what I want to wear. Best ones I saw were on 4th of July at Pinehurst. Guy had on a full matching set of stars and stripes plus fours and matching cap. Couldn't help but give him props... and I wish more pros took this look. THAT would make the clothing companies get back into them, and then the ULTIMATE Poser compilations could come in Mizuno blue or Cobra Orange.

Yeah, in America knickers are short for knickerbockers, which are plus 2 and plus for in the Britain. Sadly out of fashion. The great thing about them is they keep your trouser cuffs from getting muddy as there aren't any trouser cuffs.

I'm not sure how I missed this thread in February. I think I'm gonna bring a bunch of old gloves to my club on Saturday to sign and hand out to my friends, you know, for practice. I may start small with an insole sponsorship. If anything it would be a good foundation to build on.

Just signed a 13 club deal with Callaway while on Vacation. Promises of tour issues, cheap old stock, and CPO were the deciding factors. The poser bag should be complete when the HMFIC (wife) of finances approves the matching staff bag to complete the look. Clothing, shoes, gloves, and balls will never be an option for this deal as I am set in that department via, Nike, 30 dozen lethals, and whatever clothing items make it out to the course that day.

I was never one to consider putting a single callaway club into play because honestly I can't stand Phil Mickelson and thought their clubs were crap. However they reassured me that Phil and I would never be in for fitting/testing at the same time and I'd get priority treatment regardless because I'm consistent in choking/stupid decisions vs just the US open for Phil. I was blown away by the irons/Alpha and they eventually won me over on the whole bag. The staff bag will be bright white and scream POSER while at the range/course but when I shank the first one from the tips @7200 yards then crush the second they'll know I'm legit.

Well, the Callaway/Odyssey Tour department got the irons and putter to me (thanks again Chad, Anthony, and Logan!), and I have to say that I am so glad I signed this semi-exclusivity, non-binding, 0% discount, players contract with Callaway/Odyssey. The clubs have been amazing and I am certain that I will soon be able to announce a non-binding, semi-exclusivity, 0% discount, golf ball sponsorship! To address the rumors, I will not be going to Bridgestone or Titleist. My people (my 2 year old and the dogs... we [b]are[/b] a grass roots team here) had a chat with Titleist and Bridgestone, but none of the three were fans of the flavor of their cover material. When it comes to apparel I am going to have to wing it... nobody wants me to sign on the dotted line as I prefer pretty muted clothes and the weather here isn't such as to allow for a plus 4's sponsorship. (Seriously, it was 92 yesterday!)

I just watched every video on youtube about the hammer. Never have I ever laughed so hard. BOOOOOM!!!!. I loved it when the camera guy on the one video said the ball was still in the air 400yds out. I have a new bag contract with Srixon and 3 shirt deal with Adidas thanks to a nice deal on last year's models. I will continue my club deals with Callaway, Mizuno, and Odyssey while looking for a replacement for the TMAG hybrid deal and Cleveland SW deal. We are going to go month by month instead of signing for a year on those clubs with an out clause for both parties at any time.
