I spin the ball on the high side plus the Epic SZ was a smaller head profile.

I have a problem with 3 woods being too large.

After a few rounds, it’s been a great two club from

Off the tee and fairway.

2 iron was going too far so needed a strong 3 wood to get some separation. Best and longest 3 wood on this day lol

Why SZ?

Mizuno MP53 5-PW w/ KBS Tour stiffs, plus a Vokey SM6 50*.

Not playing a heap of golf at the moment so will take my time finding a 54/58 SM6 combo before club championships kicks off in October.

You will LOVE them.

My bag was set, but I've had something pulling me toward adding a blade putter to my options for a while now. Recently had the old Nike Method Matter catch my eye and when earlier this week's 15% off on eBay popped up and there was one brand new in wrapping with original headcover available, I couldn't pass it up.

I'll leave the plastic on the sole until I 100% decide if it's staying put. It's gorgeous to look at though for sure...and makes me disappointed that I only started liking the look of Nike clubs in the cycle right before they called it quits.

Sky Caddie SX500 is a legitimate upgrade to the Touch. Need a more piercing ball flight so going to the old reliable Grafalloy Blue for fairway clubs and the Diamana D+ x5ct for the driver. Billy Bob's Golf CMX adapters (with larger range settings +/- 1.5) for Ping.

Man I kinda miss my scratch wedges. They would destroy golf balls though...

Yea, mine will as well. When I ordered them, the guy on the phone told me that I'd be getting the last set, of the last batch.

Guess I'll have to find something else when these wear out. :)

Mp-18s. :D

Still gaming the 913 I see... Nothing better for you out of all the manufacturers???

'Better' is sometimes relative Sir. :)

You can see in my sig that I have a G400 in my Ping bag. It is longer than the 913 with the 63g Whiteboard flowerband I put in it. It's quieter than the G30 it replaced (and longer), but it still makes more noise than my D3. And it's larger. And given the choice, I do like looking at a smaller driver head. I'm a bit Old School that way I guess. :)

And as it's a recent addition, I'm still getting to know it, whereas I've had the Titleist woods for a few years now and am more comfortable with them. If that makes any sense.

Also, the D3 requires far less manipulations to work the ball than the G400, or even the 915 D2 I have. This also means it's a bit tricky to hit one dead straight also, so I carry that hot little 3 wood (80g Whiteboard) that I can smack the heck out of with less risk of loosing it sideways (for me anyway).

My Titleist/Mizuno bag is for when I want to play sticks that require a bit more skill. My Ping bag is when I want to relax a bit and/or my swing has deteriorated a bit. Which happens more often now, the older I get.

To be honest though, I am just getting back into playing after laying off for a few years, and have not tried the new Titleist drivers. Nor any other new drivers other the G400. And as I just bought the MP-18s, I can't afford one now anyway.

Maybe this Winter. :D

Very true, my TI 425 TP with V2 can still hit it by a lot of the new offerings. But you better bring your A game or she'll punish you good. That's why the AB TP is in the bag though I'm going to be picking up a 2016 M2 within the next several months.

Bought a Scotty Cameron 2018 Select Fastback this summer, I have wanted to buy a Fastback for a long time but the old sight lines have always been "off" for me.

Now this year Scotty finally added the tour preferred single line sight line and I had to get it. 4th round in the bag, shot my first ever PAR, 4 bogeys, 4 birdies ,10 pars on my home course that has a par of 73.

Really like the refinements Scotty has designed to the form, the lines and edges curve beautifully.

The bottom is a bit simple IMO, but it is what it is, like that the weights don't have paintfill, makes it look more machined and mechanical.

The head cover feels very durable.

Really liked the black grip as a standard option, it's way more durable in the long run. But I have to mention, I have black and white MCC grips and this grip left black rubbermarks all over them, really annoying and weird that Scotty did not notice this beforehand. So I had to change it to a Superstroke Flatso 1.0 Countercore, it makes the putter even better.

New putter next to old gamers, Golo 5 with white sight line and Faltso 2.0, and a Bettinardi BB8 with the legendary Ping PP58 Blackout. I really should sell the old gamers but I just dont feel like selling them.

I think putters are one of the few things to keep on hand whenever you switch to a new one. You never know when just changing something visually is going to help. That BB8 is gorgeous.

Found this Ping Hoofer in a pawn shop for $10. First bag I have owned with sleeves to separate the four way top. No club tangle has been a plus.
