VA Composites Drago 55. I don't think I've ever driven the ball farther or straighter. I actually can't wait to hit my driver now, it's awesome. If you like the HZRDUS Yellow, I recommend giving this one a try.

Snagged some "new to me" irons off the BST. Price was too good to pass up. To top it off, they came with Grip Master leather grips which I have been wanting to try. Haven't hit them yet, but they should give my Z965's a run for their money. They are actually a shorter blade length then the Srixon's.

Got my first Scotty. I know people say the new ones with the inserts aren't as good but I really like it.

 

Nice putter! I have a 2016, and while the inserts get a lot of hate, they do feel nice and roll the ball really well.... I think you will enjoy that putter!!!

Bought a set of p790s from a friend of a friend for $450. Played maybe 10 rounds with AMT white shafts, 3-P. Sold the 3 iron for $75 so only $375 for 4-P. I'd say that's a hell of a deal.

 

 

Also bought a Fujikura Pro 2.0 Tour Spec 7-S for my Callaway GBB after a fitting. Love the shaft and weight. I feel like I can really rip after one.

I love my HZRDUS yellow. Not sure this comparable. The yellow is low launch. The drago is mid/high. That could be a reason it was better for you

The Drago is more on the mid side. My fitter said the bend profile is similar to these two, and the results bore that out in the bay. Bend profile is more telling for me, as swing faults can affect launch/spin somewhat.

 

Everyone's swing reacts differently to different shafts, but the Yellow actually launched higher for me with more spin. Drago brought my spin down and I picked up some yards and roll because of it.

 

Like I said, the shaft is incredible and as a former Yellow user, it's worth trying if you like the Yellow. This information came directly from a fitter and was corroborated with Trackman, for me.

Well I bought them used, so I might as well!

 

Hit them yesterday and shot 74, used the 4 iron off a lot of shorter Par 4s. Amazing clubs already, but look even better in black. The shafts help a lot with keeping the ball from ballooning. Very happy with my purchase so far!
