TV shows used to be so good that we would schedule our whole week around watching certain shows at certain times.

 

Most of the garbage that’s on now we wouldn’t even consider watching without DVR or On-Demand etc. 🤢🤦🏽‍♂️

Exactly. TV used to be an event. MASH, Cheers, Seinfeld, etc all had us circling their times in the TV Guide. Although we’ve lost that vibe today, and that there’s just soooo much rubbish on now, I will say there are a few nuggets out there (Curb, Ted Lasso comes to mind) that are thoughtfully made. But I miss the good ol stuff.

Got these in today, 5-PW. Got lucky, golf discount had a set of green dot +1/2” sitting on the shelf. Once I had the serial # I was able to get the GW ordered today as well. Still unsure what I’ll go with to finish the top of the bag.

I really needed new irons (I don’t) and I have grown tired of my beloved ISI BeNi gamers (I haven’t). My wife loves it when I spend on golf clubs with not a care in the world in the middle of a work day (she does not) and I know buying a set of irons right off the shelf after only setting the 7i down at address is the best way to dial in my iron game (nope). 
Facts….. I love shiny, they were 50%off and it’s officially winter in Alberta and I’m already bored = these. I’ll test these shiny beasts in the SIMs this winter and see if we can bend ‘em to fit me “close enough”. Since it’s off season for a looooong while now, my old BeNi’s can’t get too pissed.

Sweet! Demo sale? How good is the Paradym range! Been flopping back and forth between Tsr2/3 and stealth 2 plus, but was very impressed with the Paradym.

Yup, GT Demo Sale! Gotta love almost 50% off!!

 

I only got to get 1 round in with the Paradym Driver, but I’ve had the 3W for a few weeks now and it’s the best 3-Wood I’ve ever owned by far!

 

It’s the first 3-Wood that I can hit off the deck pretty consistently, and once I get it fully dialed in it’s going to be an absolute weapon!

 

High hopes for the Paradym Driver as well…early indicators have been very good.
